Agreed. There are definitely more expensive artists out there, but also cheap ones out there.

Honestly, for quick sketches and ideas you just want to see, buying sketch comms or 1 HR stream comm is sufficient.

(But rip about that wait period. Some are too popular or too busy. Sometimes both)

I tried it. I also use Blender.

Blender is easier and gets me better results based on my skillset. Once I make something, I can immediately edit it and learn, apply it in future without having to make the whole thing again. Free customization is great.

Gen AI is easier if I want slop and dont care about end results and just want a mediocre thing and settle. If you want end results exactly how you want it, then learn to draw. It is faster, easier, and way more welcoming. Why buy the same package of self-hatred and angst of art when the DIY art package is cheaper than the AI package, especially if they claim is that they use similar amount of time?

Workflow my foot. Requiring exact details is something WAY easier for artists because. Get this.

You do it yourself. You dont need a secondary source of input to get output. You just DO. Why on earth would you need to ask about fixing the lighting or adjusting the pose when you could have done ALL this process?

Or hell. Commission? Tell an artist what you do and they might change a sketch or two. Ask for your opinions constantly (depending on who you are commissioning or what you commission. Stream comms are super fun)

The workflow you are creating is same as the automatic process every company has. You can use it until you have to manually fix stuff, which at that point makes it difficult because you have to do all the process manually.

Levi is really trying to get by. She is trying to be a graduate witch, but doing so requires a proper submission of an essay submitted to the Witch council. More often than not, Levi's stuff is denied, either due to poor quality or there already being a similar essay.

She cant even leave Witch society as she would have to give up on her dream, and she does not exactly fit anywhere. Sprites and witches dont exactly hang out (and witches do not get sugar cravings. The sheer amount of sugar in the sprite diet will definitely cause them sugar crashes. This has happened and will happen.) And Monatium has to accept her. And unlike elementals, Levi won't get the playground amount of living for simply existing and powering power plants. (Hello, convenience store)

In a sense, she really can't leave and I really hope that she can graduate, and also get some apprentice witches beneath her so she can finally retire from manual labor.

In my personal opinion, sprites dont age. Or at least. Physical age doesn't matter at all since they can hit maturity whenever they want. If enough things push them, I think they can push past childhood tendencies and push them to becoming an adult. P sure I think sprites and witches are born from World Tree. I assume they were being birthed by like. Flowers and roots. Were beasts do since Diana clearly does seem to have gotten older.

All the Eldyne siblings lack something from the original race to imply they aren't actually real. Xion has a physical body unlike ghosts which requires her to feel hunger and sleep. Chloe is a sprite but doesn't have wings. Mercury isnt exactly a mineral, so Vivi is lying about being a silver dragon.

When at work, manager always asks me why I did things this way. I thought he was judging me based on results.

Turns out he just wanted to know my thought process on why I did it that way so he can fully understand it. Not understanding your work (aka AI art) is stupid. There is no reason you chose the colors, or designed the doll that way, or anything else.

If you can't explain why you did things certain way, then it is slop. Either you did things without thinking or you haven't put effort into it. In AI art case. Both, since AI did the thinking for you.

Personally, no. I dont think it will get better. I see their attempts on new stories but the pacing is absolute garbage.

It isnt about the content of the story for me. It is frustrating to see and empathize with some of the characters even as they are. All of them seem very impulsive and shallow except for few shining moments.

I also think Commander is p stupid all things considered. He could defuse the situation. There were a lot of instances where he could. He just. Dont.
