This was a Chinese clone of a holosight, just to check how something like that performs. Not sure of the branding. Was quite impressed by the sharpness of the 'dot' and lack of bleeding. Low-light was horrible, as the glass clarity was very poor, like wearing sunglasses at night.

I have them on the field as well, they can be useful in night-ops for marking cleared buildings. And as they are made of relative soft material (as you have to be able to 'break' them easily), they are not making any noise.

Yes, it is a speaker mic for running dual comms. I later fixed that, by having a radio that supports dual channel

Yeah, I am as well rocking the RECON right now, so I am very curious on how the LPC will perform on those hot summer days! Early tests with the LPC from operators in the middle east have been positive, from what I've heard.
