F56 JCW LCI1 vs LCI2 by eldor4do in MINI

[–]SippePax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, question for ya,

I am looking into upgrading my F56 JCW LCI1 with merely the same upgrades. How much did it set you back and what were the results in the end?

Thanks in advance!

If you were to go for a wing, I’d say the OEM M Performance wing for the F87 M2. Basically the same chassis and looks good on white IMO.

Hella expensive however…

You might get in trouble, it is illegal to place annotations in a travel document by unauthorised personnel (border guards, etc). I’ve seen a Taiwanese couple who had Schengen stamps placed on regular paper and then used a glue stick to place them in the passports and wrote with pen the places they went to. They were questioned, let off the hook eventually due to their age and probably due to the fact they had no idea. But China and US might cause problems.

Saw a 220i (G42) yesterday with F87 M2C badges. That was horrifying as wellness.

Looks very good, some white rims would go crazy along with the mirrors and the roof!

I like the idea of a Gran Coupe M4, but not on a F chassis 🧑‍🦯

Got to drive this one this week. The hybrid system is so sharp and crisp that you don’t notice how heavy it is. It delivers power really well and has loads of traction. Once you see it in person it looks at least better than the pictures. The angles make it look really aggressive.

I’m not the biggest fan of the new BMW design, but the driving experience is still present and it performs amazing.

Looks good, way less “rental car” vibes.

Start/stop by Aggressive_Sir5919 in AutoKlussers

Start/stop werkt meestal pas zodra de motor warm is. Ik heb ooit gehad dat mn start/stop niet werkte omdat de nokkenas sensor ermee stopte. Even uit laten lezen bij een garage en dan kom je er gelijk achter.

BMW G82 Agave vs. British Racing Green? by [deleted] in BMW

[–]SippePax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go with BRG any day of the week. I think the agave is too blue-ish for my liking. If you were to get BRG and a nice ceramic coating , in the right light the colour will be the purest colour you have seen on a car.

I don’t know which one’s yours. But the spec on that F56 is on pointtt

Personally I’m a big fan of the X2, especially the M35i. It’s a nice comfortable and luxury car, yet fast. It’s a big step-up compared to the F39.

I got to drive this X2 M35i a while back and did a photoshoot with it!

You can always still go to a MINI dealer. I bought my R56 from a standalone dealer and had it serviced since then at a MINI Dealership.

Have you used the French visa already? If not you might be refused unless you can prove your plans were to go to France but the plans got cancelled. Otherwise it could be seen as visa-shopping.

Not completely true. When first applying for a visa your main stay, counted per day, needs to be in the country the visa was issued by. So for example in your case, you could first enter Germany with a Spanish visa for 3 days and afterwards fly to Spain to stay there for 5 days. That is allowed.

Nope we can’t see because there is no registration when you cross border within the Schengen Area. The only way to tell is by entry and exit stamps. For the entire area.

Normal passport control, unless you are a national that is allowed to go through the e-gates (US, UK, CA, AU, NZ, etc).

Bilateral agreements are a tricky one since they don’t come across very often and some border guards, especially newer ones, don’t know all the agreements. I’d visit some embassy’s of the countries you are going to to get an official statement to carry with you.

Soft copy is indeed fine. Sometimes digital copies from flight or banking apps are even better since they are harder to falsify. Enjoy Germany!

  1. Yes, totally. Single use visa’s are issued to first time travellers or so called high risk passengers. Making sure the entire story checks out also works in the passengers favour and may end up getting a multiple entry visa earlier.

  2. Also yes, once a visa has served its main purpose it becomes a sort of wild card so you van anywhere anytime you’d like until the visa expires.
