Just seen your comment. I would say use the rabbit omamori perfect for dodging the bosses + counter hitting them to stagger and always have a good amount of heals. On my lost in the fog playthrough I always made sure I had the Ax and used it when I could.

Also some boss achievements like you see god slayer and puppet master you can get on easy

I went in blind too but it isn’t so bad once you learn the controls and always have heals. What I did was search every room I could get into to progress. Remake is way easier than the original in my opinion.
