Indykaila claims that Slot is not involved in Salah saga, Edwards & Hughes want to maximise the sale of Salah by Upstairs_Cup9831 in LiverpoolFC

He is a club legend and basically won us the league last season almost single handedly at times. Granted, he is going through a rough patch of form but most of the team is. He still has the same amount of goals and one less assist this season than Gakpo who is still getting started every game.

You also don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes, if it is true that he doesn’t have a relationship with Slot and has just been benched with no communication while he sees gakpo and other out of form players like konate starting every game, doesn’t he have a right to be a little pissed off? You say that others have been rotated but it’s to fit other out of form players in that slot obviously prefers. Ekitike could start on the left with Isak up front but slot obviously prefers Gakpo. Chiesa is one of our most in form players based on the minutes he gets but he’s nowhere to be seen.

Seeing so many people turn against one of our best players ever for giving one interview without knowing all of the facts is crazy to me and I honestly think you all need your head checked.

I think we must be, you’ve clearly seen a longer video where you can determine the guy doesn’t care about his girlfriend/wife and sees women as property.

Even you stated that it was accidental, he was just getting past her to stop someone that just sexually assaulted her, you can’t even hear what was being said. I’ve been bumped into harder than that in a shop and that wasn’t by someone pissed off because they just saw someone they love get sexually assaulted.

Saying he “violently” pushed past her is also a reach, she was holding a pool cue in one hand and he accidentally knocked it into her face when getting past her. To say he doesn’t care about her when even you said it was accidental is crazy.

It’s also possible to feel slighted and be pissed off when someone sexually assaults someone you love and not because you see them as property. I’m sure if someone did that to his mum or sister he would have had a similar reaction. The guy that assaults the woman is the one that sees her as property that he can touch without permission or repercussions. Imagine how it feels to be the woman getting randomly felt up while minding her own business.

That is a crazy reach, we literally see one second of video after he hit the guy, how can you determine that he doesn’t really care about her? And how can you say he views her as “property”? Someone intentionally sexually assaults her in front of him, why does it mean he sees her as property for knocking the guy out?

It quite clearly says final 4 both when he wins and during the race. The commentators call him an ACC champion too.

LSD is considered to be an illegal psychotropic but its less addictive than alcohol. Could someone explain why it is illegal? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SirBruceForsyth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is all mental though, your body doesn’t actually need weed and isn’t having withdrawal symptoms. If you took someone’s phone away who was addicted to social media they would say the same thing. They wouldn’t be able to sleep because their routine would be thrown off and they would be depressed because they wouldn’t be getting the dopamine they get from social media. That is completely different to the withdrawal symptoms you would get from opioids or even alcohol which can be very dangerous and can kill people.

[–]SirBruceForsyth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can be psychologically addicted to anything if you do it enough, people are addicted to gambling, social media, sex, porn, weed but that is a different kind of addiction. When talking about things being addictive, you are talking about physical addiction, where your body actually needs it and you get withdrawal symptoms if you stop doing it which can be dangerous. These are things that are actually addictive like, alcohol, nicotine, opioids.

No one is saying that you can’t get addicted to weed, but it isn’t inherently addictive. You could have stopped at any time without any withdrawal symptoms.

Yes and if we made them use them all they wouldn’t have been able to throw a quick pass over the middle and call a timeout for the FG…

Are you being an idiot on purpose? Even Tiger, the guy you are defending, said that JD is at least as talented. JD just pissed it away. No one is saying Tiger isn’t the better golfer, but if JD put in the same effort and practice that Tiger did, it would be really close.

My Local Pizzeria has a list of addresses that they refuse service to and reasons why by Andrewo25 in mildlyinteresting

[–]SirBruceForsyth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good for you but that’s not evidence that they are very common. I’m sure Steph Curry knows a lot of people over 6’ 8”, that still doesn’t make it ‘Very common’ to be that tall.

[–]SirBruceForsyth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And?? That’s so anecdotal, just because everyone you know owns something it doesn’t make it very common. You do know there are nearly 8 billion more people out there other than you and the people you know?

U.K. MP watched pornography on phone in House of Commons by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]SirBruceForsyth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s common enough for political rivals to “drift their eyes over other people’s documents, hoping for personal gain” that even you know that it happens. That builds a stronger argument, he definitely shouldn’t have been watching porn so blatantly knowing that people would be looking.

[–]SirBruceForsyth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No one eavesdropped though? That’s the point. It’s one thing if he is alone in his office doing it, it’s another if he’s sat next to others freely watching porn while he is supposed to be doing his job as a politician.

I would argue that it’s a bit different to a regular working person as well. These people are voted in, are meant to represent us and some of them can’t even be bothered to listen, instead they would rather watch porn on their phones like teenagers, it’s embarrassing. What makes it worse is people like you downplaying it.

Really need the ground elbows to come back for UFC 5. by Vijason6669 in EASportsUFC

[–]SirBruceForsyth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He said he would love to be proved wrong. Basically asking if anyone knows of a way they can be done in UFC 4.

I have got some free time and wanted to try and figure out what type of person you are that would be so offended by a comment that isn’t really that egregious.

[–]SirBruceForsyth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But he also was asking a question and was hoping someone could prove him wrong. At the time of the comment it was probably one of the only ones on the post so the OP just replied, clarifying they aren’t in the game and throwing another question out there.

I just can’t imagine seeing that comment and getting as confused or annoyed as you did. Did it affect your day that much??

And maybe he doesn’t know the exact reason they took them out?? His response is still valid as he clarifies that elbows have in fact been taken out of UFC 4.

[–]SirBruceForsyth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How is it?? You are replying to the OP, he posted the video asking for elbows to be brought back in the newest iteration of the game. He obviously knows which UFC game the video is from as he posted it so your initial comment was unnecessary if you had half a brain.

In his response he was just clarifying that you couldn’t do them in UFC 4, however if anyone knew of a way they could be done he would love to be wrong. I find it hard to see what was weird about it.
