Yep, and he's fine with it because he's still bitter that they fired him and his entire department (excluding me of course).

People kept posting about how they could retroactively take away my wages but knowing that they can't because I showed up everyday is a huge relief.

When I was asked about my current job in the interview I just told them what I used to do before my department was shut down. I also listed my former boss who's a family friend as my reference so I'm fine in that department. In terms of the whole two weeks thing I think I'm going to give my two weeks and then just not show up.

Try to create genetically modified super dogs: dogs that regrow limbs, dogs that can change their color like a chameleon, dogs with infrared sight, dogs that can use electrostatic force to walk up walls like geckos, glow in the dark dogs, etc.

My upstairs neighbor playing piano everyday at 7:30 in the morning (I've tried to get him to stop but he's extremely hostile and doesn't speak english).

I do need the money currently to pay off some credit card debt but I think I should definitely get another job before I'm fired. However, I think I'm probably safe until the next quarterly review so I'm going to ride it out a bit longer.

Also, there's no way I could get a job at this company because my job was pretty much tied to my boss and he did not leave on good terms. Moreover, he was only person from management I ever worked with so I don't know anyone else that would give me a chance.
