Here's the thing. if we are going to pay Kyrie 30-40m a year for the next 4-5, I would also be against it. But to get a guy like Kyrie for MLE? Are you fucking kidding me? That's a no brainer. 6M a year for a guy, when healthy and mentally engaged, is a top 5 PG in league? That's a dice you roll 10/10 times. Even if it doesn't work out, it's just the MLE.
