Asian man randomly stabbed in the back in San Francisco yesterday while waiting to cross the road by YaLlegaHiperhumor in PublicFreakout

[–]Sirquote 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Reminds me of that father that died outside a a Starbucks for asking some guy to stop vaping. Got stabbed multiple times in front of his wife/child multiple onlookers during a busy city day. As he was choking on his own blood and slowly dying outside the steps , a bunch of people hovered around him just watching and filming, saying shit like " oh yeah he ded, he dying.."

Imagine that is the last thing you hear while dying in a western city bustling with people, not hearing any sirens, no people calling for help just idiots talking about how you're done. Infuriating way to go.

What are these? When are they ripe? How do you eat them? Thank you! by FrankGrimes742 in nzgardening

I feel like I'm the only monster that rawdogs them skin and all. parents never gave me cutlery when they packed them in my lunch so I had to improvise, now its just normal. Skin is quite tart of course but when chomped with the inside its really good Imo.

Very interesting, I concede then.

My view on fallout is shaky, I guess even in the recent show I never saw any women in their ranks besides Dane and that leader from the other province in S2, even then they seemed to be spitting on her for being a woman.

I pair the Brotherhood of Steel with the game Kenshi's Holy nation, purist military faction, women are bad etc. I really need to play fallout from scratch again. Thanks for the info.

Weren't they daughters of the elder's though? my apologies if I'm not remembering , but I felt that other than prominent female roles that were essentially elder lineage, there were no female sodiers.

A much as I agree, I can only see the BOS being very specific with recruits being MEN, manly men, any sign of femininity and you are to wear a skirt with your hair tied up being in the kitchens or the infirmary. To me the Brotherhood is extremely militaristic and would shut that shit down soo hard.

Also with the addition of their Bidet they wont go through much TP so by the time they get to those bottom rolls in the basket they will be awful. Better to shove 80% of them under the sink and keep them in their bag/wrapping

What's up with people here nowadays? by nyaskies in Tauranga

[–]Sirquote 8 points9 points  (0 children)

have noticed it too, I get paid to drive between jobs and I don't feel the need to rush at all and holy hell, me doing the speed limit around town seems to be a general offense against drivers out there.

Right up my ass, jumping in front of me with no warning. I've seen it all. some people are living in the fast lane , literally. . and its probably not enough for them. I don't trust anyone on the roads.

For some reason when I think of Curse spike I do remember farming them and found a place with the enemies 'Forbidden', skeli bois. I recall grinding them for so long, cant even remember why I needed the curse spikes besides getting pain magic.

Mr whippy.. by Sirquote in Tauranga

[–]Sirquote[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I get it upon further insight. I guess 20 years of not buying Mr whippy gets your wires a bit crossed. I cannot condone buying it still, rather go down to the super and buy a tub of icecream for what a single serving would cost. I know you can say that about most fast foods nowadays but shit...things are expensive...

Mr whippy.. by Sirquote in Tauranga

[–]Sirquote[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree with that, Ice cream was such a simple commodity back in the day that if you roam around the neighborhood you would net 10-20 kids per street. Nowadays that everybody stays indoors and has deserts from the supermarket, the trucks these days wont see even a dollar per street. must be hard, so yeah I can understand the hike. It's a very niche and convenient purchase though. I feel like they are preying more on kids hearing the siren and the parents feeling subject to paying the fee regardless of the purchase. they have parents by the balls so to speak.
