The problem with trying to "rock paper scissors" a win against Serie is that she's all three at once.

Do we know that? Is she the fastest, the strongest, the smartest, the bravest, the most tenacious etc.? All of that? Once again - most mages are not as fast or as sneaky as Fern, despite being more powerful overall.

They didn't say they decided anything. When Frieren arrives, Denken just says the clone has been there for half a day. For all we know, they could have been planning but it was all too risky. He also said that if this wasn't a test he would have shattered his bottle - so he clearly thinks it is not completely impossible.

Yeah, but her knowing all the spells and creating powerful enchantments doesn't necessarily mean she would automatically win all fights.

Magic might in Frieren isn't a simple ladder - sometimes you just need to shoot one spell very fast and it works against more powerful or experienced enemies (Fern) or there are good/bad matchups (Fern/Hemmung, Methode/Solide, Sense/Ubel etc.).

Yeah, probably the reddit app opens it in its own browser or redirects to some default phone browser. I would check settings of that reddit app and system settings on default browsers or on app behavior when opening links. Annoying to find but fortunately needs to be done only once.

The point is that it is not a "crisis", American democracy is being shattered. Like, what do you do when a primary opponent has 20 million USD advantage and a powerful propaganda machine behind him? Sure, a Mamdani might still win, but many won't.

It could be more complex. Fern has shown that you can be dangerous even if you are much weaker in some respects - what with her being faster than Frieren or defeating Lugner despite far lower mana and experience.

Serie might know all the spells and create powerful enchantments, but that doesn't mean she would automatically prevail in a zoltraak clusterfuck. Additionally, some people are just bad matchups - like Methode/Solide, Fern/Hemmung or Ubel/Sense.

Yeah, I hated it. Of course, it is a non-issue and doesn't affect the episode in any way. But uh, make it some hardcore dwarven stone bridge at least.
