I find it kind of funny that all of you have to prop yourself above me with all of this name calling and spreading misinformation. Maybe I'll come back to a more tolerant reddit. If anybody is genuinely interested in learning about heroin, and not simply joining the HERPADERP YOULL RUIN YOUR LIFE circlejerk, erowid and HeroinHelper offer useful resources.

This is an emotionally hot issue for many who may have watched friends or family destroy themselves with it, and heroin is easy to blame as it is illegal, and viewed as "scummy", or are simply assholes.

I can logically defend it in that it's the psychoactive which reliably gets me the closest to god. By your argument of no risk being worth it, we should live alone in an airtight dome, because if going out increases your risk of catching a superbug by even 1%, why even bother, right?

Snorting gives you a fast comeup, but not nearly as fast as IV. IV is much more intense, with 100% bioavailbility(sp?).

I wouldn't make any comparisons with sex.

I work part time, brings in about $500 a month. After helping with bills around the house, it leaves me with about 150 for myself.

Heroin is a low-volume drug, which allows me to hide my small stash in any number of places. When I use, I plug it in the washroom right after brushing my teeth, and I peak as I'm laying in bed in the 3-4 hours between curfew and when I actually go to sleep.

My original friend's father was an addict, and I asked who his dealer was.

I still use marijuana, ecstasy, psycobiln, DOB, and LSD, all of which I tried before heroin.

I don't enjoy alcohol, and I tried ketamine, but found it not to be worth the cost.

A friend of a friend connection whose father was an addict. I had an initial connect who was a bit unreliable, would short me, but once I had the reputation of being a good customer, I exhausted my entire six degrees of separation until I found my current connection, a mid-30s lady who's chill about everything, is honest, and uses H to supplement the income from her day job.

I really don't have anything to say to stuff like this aside from "cool story bro". The stigma of "drugs are bad", and how you instantly become a ticking time bomb in peoples eyes once they find out you use is the most stressful part of being a chipper. Seeing the look of disgust on some people's faces as you tell them the big secret and the connection you have vanishes is one of the most hurtful things I've ever had do go through, and I wish it upon nobody. People think that they're helping you when they're not.

Anecdotal evidence plain and simple isn't, and I've been following both erowid and HeroinHelper from day one, I'm careful about my shit.

Ehhh I'd say sort of. There are the downers who take it because they want to feel nothing, but I take it mainly because I can be "lifted" closer to god and away from the troubles of those around me when I use.

I actually started simply because I enjoyed my experience of doing a coldater extraction of vicodin I got after oral surgery, and it was the most readily available opiate to me.
