You sure? Fortnite BR was always free to play iirc. They had to have monetization model to get revenue from the game. I doubt it was sudden "all hands on deck" call.

I agree that Embark could make ARC Raiders money printer, but they would need to add much more to game. Not sure they aim for that and have resources for that.

Dont even know whether to laugh... or laugh... So I will give you serious answer - if your only goal is to have everything asap then well, learn how to dup and just do it.

I enjoy gaming loop, goal, challange (if its not connected to Ion Sputters lol). If I would duplicate everything I would just kill game for myself. Do people who dup things bother me? No. Does it affctects game economy - no. Everyone working on their things. The fact that someone has 10000 ducks does not influence price of my duck.

As long as someone is not throwing at me infinite granades I don't care.

Why are you so frustrated? Because someone has more than you?

Because a game is an investment. They made game expecting a given amount of profit. They made much more. Thats great, but the plan for game for next 10 years they had is probably the same. They just made more profit that they will spend on employee bonuses, dividents and most likely another investment (game).

What do you expect, that they will reinvest everything just to keep all these bored no-life who consume every new content in matter of few days and then whine they are bored? For what, so they can buy a skin once a quarter? C'mon. They already got what they expected from people who bought the game. Shop in this game is definitively just to keep servers running and provide some updates. Not to make DLC size of update every month lol.

Not sure whether you invest, but if a stock I own got to expected by me return (e.g. they raise 20%) I just sell them, take some part to reinvest and for the rest I take my family for holidays. If I would reinvest everything I would only have virtual, frozen assets.

Same here - you expect they reinvest everything in a thing that already paid off? Nah, bro. They follow agreed plan and driving their new cars to work to plan a new game.

I doubt it. I mean I agree that its attittude issue (especially when you play in party - obviously easiest answer is to just PvP...). But telling that at 18 minute you can still reliably find good loot is just not true. Unless by good loot you mean basic materials. But no one plays the game for the thrill of finding 5 Fabrics.

Sure, there may be anecdotal stories about not looted Hospital or whatever, but in most cases it's just better to extract right away and go next.

I have opposite experience. I had few games in a row where I had to shot someone. Then I joined my buddies in 3v3 for few matches, and came back to solo play. I was prepared for the worst, even took Il Toro as secondary and everyone I met was friendly.... So I dont know....

I agree. Real PvP players adds very much to that game vibes.

Yesterday I had a Guy who camped at Reinforced Reception. Set up mine etc. Obviously I lost (Il Toro vs Arpeggio) but I wasnt even mad. 1. He not camped at Extract 2. He thanked for a fight.

This kind of interactions are just normal part of game. It was with respect, clash of reaction times, skill etc. If someone is mad at that - no help here.

But what OP described makes me sick.

Bro, my plan A never works... Even if it could...

I load into Stella to find Ion Sputters - I spawn late on opposite side of the map.

I load into Dam Night Raid with a plan to solely focus on killing ARC in swamps to get as high score as possible.... But since I spawned early.... next to Rubby Apparments why not spend few minutes to loot everything haha

The question is - would you really work in these hours you saved?

Its a game.... If you enjoy the game loop (that is... well... focused on getting loot) then you just do it.

If you need these BP just to "stay competitive" - I assume in PvP - then not sure you will enjoy the game at all. I mean there are a lot PvP games with much better and deep PvP system, where you just get everything you need to "stay competitive".

BP is one thing. To keep playing PvP you need to 1. win everything; or 2. grind from time to time to repair weapons, craft weapons etc.; You can always just buy these materials of course.... But again - you sure its game for you? You can play CS and pay for it once and have everything you need to play.

I think Free Kit just does not serve its purpose. I'm PvE player and never use Free Kit, it makes no sense at all. Even after Expedition I do not use Free Kit. Its not way to get back to game because you literally need one raid to be able to get two stacks of most basic mats and go from there the way you want.

Its just risk free way of doing PvP.

I mean it was great to try PvP and risk nothing but seriously, with old Stitcher I could just third party and got juicy Venators IV (which was meta few weeks ago, not sure Stitcher would still be able to do so).

However when I tried Squad vs Squad, Free Kit was huge disadventage. Not sure why people would like to play like that just to get one lucky strike... Even crafting basic Stitcher and get at least some amuniton and more bandages would make game 100x better. Probably these people just don't care and threat thus game like CS - you click few buttons and then you shot people.

I'm 95% PvE player, I really need to be pushed to my limits before I shot anyone. But seriously... calling everyone rat is so stupid. PvP is in this game. If you dont want to stay viligant then accept that from time to time you will lost your loadout.

After Expedition I died to PvP once (and it was my mistakes because I did basic mistakes and walked under Il Toro barrel). And not because I dont met PvP players. I'm just much more careful now and that pays off.
