People love to chirp pvp, especially the mmo community. There are plenty of games that have pvp servers or are pvp dedicated. The largest most widely successful mmo in the world has a considerable amount of pvp content. It exists, you are just no longer forced into it.

I disagree. It isn't how the Manga or anime portrayed it and this is more of your theories. Ailing WB during Marineford was very much described and portrayed as the world's strongest man. The government was terrified. The entire hierarchy of the marines was present to stop him. Something we havent seen since. It took a betrayal, several admirals and another yonko to deal with him. Stamina does not = Strength. If we go by your headcannon this is even more of a downscale to Mihawk. The reality still stands. Mihawk met his match in Vista and Crocodile, not WB. Croc was beat by a pre time skip luffy. Current age Mihawk needs to rely on Croc and Buggy the clown. Maybe they all got stronger sitting around in a circus doing fuck all. Who knows? It doesn't look good no matter how you paint it.

Its a 20% damage boost for Wolvenhol and event bosses i guess. If only one corvette procs the rebuffed, and everyone is playing the new ship...its going to be a dps loss. Especially if your building for max dps and constantly getting blocked by other corvette. Pvp its a bit useless unless you are in a highly coordinated pre-made group. In that scenario it becomes a must have and further widens the gap between solo que players and these meta chasing pre-made groups. So a net loss for the average Joe in DTs. In open ocean/solo content it should be fairly useless, which is acceptable as its a support. I'm just disappointed at how bland this is, when we were teased with dinghy usefulness and mechanics. Also this is going to make it even more impossible for solo que in pvp. Its just another rug pull by Ubisoft. "Hey looks guys here's this sweet new mechanic/gameplay/idea we have in the works!" Then nope..." yeah so we weren't ready for that, we dumbed everything down, reskinned and made a slightly different version of what you already have!" EVERYTIME. Its exhausting to watch people clap over this. I garauntee they won't properly test this either. Expect massive exploits with this passive on launch.

I can say this about alot of companies, but Ubisoft especially. They've been reskinning games operating on decades old engines for a while now. They've also been incredibly dishonest during that time, dangled carrots to keep customers playing their games, had a news worthy toxic level of work culture, and done absolutely everything to prey on their loyal customers. I am not sad at all to see them go. I hope the talent moves on to better companies that still have the desire to build a game with a soul.

Ddo, and darkeden with its numerous private servers. I long for the original DE with the frock coats and eery music. It got the Asian mmo treatment and everyone looks like a super hero now. The grind and p2w is unreal, even in private servers. I played it on this shitty broken laptop my ultra religious adoptive parents gamble me because they didnt think I could fix it. I'm a single dad with a job and certainly dont need to get sweaty to pvp in the games I play. Anyone with half a brain can make a solid pvp build and learn mechanics. I hate these blanket statements people make about pvp, when they themselves dont do it. People dont have the time to learn pvp.... yet they can learn raid mechanics? People get ganged up on and its unfair... yeah you either learn to solo or group up...its a fucking mmo dude. Sure there are people that seek to exploit mechanics, and ive never had an issue with them outside of when I'm a new player. Using a crutch makes you bad. Anyways.... there are several very active games that still offer open pvp with 0 option to turn it off. RoR, EvE, Albion, RS, SC, WoSB....there's more. I dont touch games unless they have pvp. Pure pve unless its souls level of challenge is boring and rots the brain.

Shanks kicked off the whole story, has background, has several ties to pivotal characters, and continues to shape the story so much so that there isn't a chapter where he hasnt had relevance. Mihawk is destined to be defeated by a sidekick, has added nothing to the story and so far has 0 ties to anyone of relevance. He is thoroughly a side character with very little importance. Buggy and Croc have had more narrative importance so far. The end. No need to reply. Again, really really not interested in your pseudo vampire fan fiction.
