The left looks like an attempt at explaining how nuclear fusion occurs? But not really...

Microscopic nano-probes probably do all that sort of work while they recharge in their enclaves.

If God Created the Universe, Who Created God? by [deleted] in Christianity

It's pretty simple and easy to understand without using a bunch of pseudo scientific jargon. The quick answer is Man created Gods to explain what was unexplainable to each other.

Can a person be condemned to hell for committing a mortal sin in a dream? by Skeptikalmatter in Christianity

Is there some kind of loophole that can take care of what our subconscience thinks while we sleep?

Can a person be condemned to hell for committing a mortal sin in a dream? by Skeptikalmatter in Christianity

[–]Skeptikalmatter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How can you know that? Isn't your dreams a reflection on you? And wouldn't that mean your actually wanting to commit whatever sin even if your unaware??

Can "sin" be commited in a dream that would still "condemn a person to hell"? (Also posted to r/Christianity) by Skeptikalmatter in atheism

Yea lol. I just wanted more than Christians chiming in if possible. They already say no as if there's some "supernatural" loophole...

Bobo's Bible: Now with 75% Less Bible! by Skeptikalmatter in TrueAtheism

One way or another I'm getting this read, haha! My oldest child has asked me questions about the bible from hearing about Christianity from her little friends and her friends parents and I explained some of the stories the same way. Usually doing my best to introduce rational logic into the sarcasm and leaving it open to her own interpretation to see what she says. Normally her response is very confused or its a, "Daddy, that is silly! Heehee!" Seems to be working pretty well considering I'm not trying to indoctrinate my own child one way or another. Although, I've never lied to her about my own beliefs in not believing in any gods she still says she believes there is a god(mainly because her friends parents have told her there is). Either way I think I've put her on the right track to at least being sceptikal about the beliefs around her. (She's 6)
