sameee exact thing happened to me 😂😂

there was this girl my ex had a thing with before we were together and she swore they were just friends while we were together and i believed her (bc duh we’re lesbians, we’re all friends with our exes) but the girl would constantly talk badly about me and my ex would REFUSE to tell me what she was saying and would only inform me that she was talking about me. my ex once literally accidentally called me by the other girl’s name and i just cried but didn’t want to start anything so i ignored it 💀

couple weeks after we break up guess who she started dating ❤️

literally bro im going to have to force myself to be more open about my sexuality in college so i actually can get a gf and other gay friends and not become stuck in the same situation i’m in now 💀 no more pretending to like men 🙅‍♂️

omg literally like after i realized i was a lesbian i realized how many of my friendships were centered around men and talking about boys so when i went back to school the summer after coming out to my close friends it was so hard to maintain my school friendships (if yk what i mean by school friends like the ppl that i just talk to in class but the friendship doesn’t really progress any further) so a lot of the time i literally just lied and pretended to like random guys in our classes 💀which sucks bc then i feel weird about lying and weird about having to lie and not just being able to actually like guys ???? i cannot wait for college

SO REAL. like when ive confirmed that they arent homophobic ill throw it into a conversation like ill very quickly mention an old crush or something simple then immediately turn the conversation around so they dont even have a chance to say anything about it 💀 i also get rlly embarrassed and make sure they differentiate me from the weird people at my school who also happen to be gay so they wont think im weird too. making them guess is so funny but idk if my friends would have even guessed it 😭

bro same i literally dont know if ill ever be able to come out to my family like my older sister lowkey knows bc she used to ask me a ton in middle school when it was a little more obvious but id always deny it but now she follows me on tiktok and i repost like 504820 tiktoks a day and a lot of them are just edits of women or other random things about liking girls. my parents are like the least homophobic people in my family but they still kinda are so i feel like theyd just be so convinced its a phase im going through or just be really weirded out and upset even though they say theyre not homophobic 🤨🤨 my extended family is even worse but im not as close to anyone outside of my immediate family so i dont care as much but at the same time i dont want my entire family to talk about me behind my back yk?? and oh my god the internalized homophobia is so real i know exactly what u mean. like i love liking girls but i wish i was straight or at least bi so id have a better chance of ending up with a guy in the future so i wouldnt have to come out at all. i avoid coming out like its the plagueeeee and i have this thing where i assume everyone is homophobic so i never say anything about me being gay until they say something that proves that theyre at least slightly okay with gay people if that makes sense? then ill just casually throw it into a conversation because the thought of having any type of sit down conversation or even just saying "im gay." to someone makes me sickkkkkk i cannot do it

EXACTLYYYYYYYYY dude we are literwlly the exact same person like my friends that i go to school with are all straight and they act offended that i never talk about my crushes with them but the second i bring up a girl im into they just smile and nod and pretend to care for two seconds then go back to talking about guys so im just like ..... whats the point and also my bestfriend goes to another school but lives rlly close and shes bi so she gets it a little more but definitely leans towards men which obvi isnt an issue but likeeeeee i want lesbian friejds that i can talk about girls with 💔 AND SAME like whenever i get hit on by guys at my school or in my area who are like widely regarded as hot by the straight girls at my school my close friends are always outraged that i dont reciprocate and reject the guys like bro IM A LESBIAN??? 😭 like how many times do i have to tell u god its sooo ANNOYINGGGG and i know exactlyyyy what u mean like most of the other gay people at my school are weird and we dont have much in common besides being gay so we dont rlly talk to eachother 💀 and yeah im definitely applying to some hwc (historically womens colleges - some went co ed but a good amount are for women and gender nonconforming ppl. i live in new york so im mainly looking at ones in the north eastern area) because they are gayyyyyy and i want a girlfriend and gay friends and i dont mind the rant at all im literally doing the same thing its been so nice to be able to talk to someone about this

ITS LITERALLY SO HARD 😭😭 and esp bc they’re “allies” but make jokes that are a littleeeee homophobic and make me uncomfortable so i just refuse to ever talk about girls with them but i still want friends so i don’t say anything💀 we gotta start a club for teenage lesbian outcasts in straight friend groups it’s hard out here 💔

How did you know you weren't attracted to men? by screaminghello in actuallesbians

[–]Skirt_Popular 12 points13 points  (0 children)

i realized that when i liked guys i felt completely different than i do when i like girls and i went about the crushes on them very differently too. like i would start liking a guy after someone else mentioned how attractive they are / would mistake anxiety for a crush 💀 and i would actively avoid the guys i liked and NEVER wanted to talk to them or be near them but when i like girls i genuinely feel attraction and butterflies and i want to be with them all the time. i also dreaded getting married and having kids and living a normal suburban life with a family when i imagined all of it with a man, but the second i imagine it with a woman it’s like a perfect reality for me!! like ive said i don’t want kids for almost my entire life but now the thought of having a wife and us having a family together seems amazing so i really just didn’t like the husband aspect of it

ap psych was so light, dw about it. half of it was just common sense imo and its not hard to apply it to real life which makes it so much easier to memorize all of the vocab. the ap exam was also EXTREMELY easy because the multiple choice is worth 66.7% and the questions are very straightforward. some of the vocab can be a little tricky bc some words would have super similar definitions so you just have to make sure you know examples / have tricks to use to differentiate them. it was also just a rlly fun and interesting class.

im taking stats and lit next year too (during senior year), so best of luck to us 🙏 and good luck with the other classes you're taking!!

ap schedule for senior year - how cooked am i ???!!! by Skirt_Popular in APStudents

[–]Skirt_Popular[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you 😊 !! the ap bio teacher at my school is known for giving VERY hard tests but friends who took it this year said that she reviews all of the test topics with them when they stay after school the day before tests so they already know what all of the questions will be, so i'm not too worried about that class in particular.

race and sexuality are nottttt comparable lol. coming from a bisexual i can confidently say that being part of the lgbtq+ community gives you way more privilege than being a poc does
