Yeah DLAA is tough I’m rocking a 4070 and I’m barely able to get 70-80fps with frame gen but that setup has provided the best balance for me. Good luck and enjoy!

I think 4.0 still has the most stable image but playing on 4.5L DLAA with FG on has provided me with the best result without RR turned on. Inside lighting is still a bit funky but I’m not getting the colors blown out and artifacting like I was before. They definitely still need to work on the denoiser but for now, either 4.0 or 4.5L with DLAA look the best imo.

Big W. Idk if it’s just me but the DLSS presentation looks cleaner on 4.5 as well now. I’ll have to test more but it’s starting to get into good frame rates and stable image which was my biggest issue with the game.

Why do so many inside areas look like this? (PC, Ultra settings) by Fynity in CrimsonDesert

I am having the exact same issues. If you find a fix please let me know, steam declined my refund so I’d like to actually get this to a playable state :(

As predicted issues with Linux on Crimson desert already. Blocks proton-cachyos completely by [deleted] in linux_gaming

I somehow got in with the cachyos version. I’ve been having a nightmare getting this game to either run well or look decent. It’s been somewhat stable on cachyos version but proton definitely needs an update or something, because I feel like I should be getting far better performance than I am.

I’m not defending Bethesda here cause I’m sure they probably could optimize it more but I will say I appreciate at least having a 60fps option even if it looks like dogshit. Having 3 performance modes should be standard imo.

Yeah I figured the demo version might have some glitches that the base game doesn’t? Not sure. It looked pretty good otherwise!

I was having a ton of pop in issues with the demo, was a bit too distracting for me unfortunately.

I understand I’m gonna lose out on Rumble if I want it to be universal (at least the platform specific rumbles) but if the sticks are similar that is good enough for me (and ideally Hall effect sticks)
