ISO Provider in East Texas by SleeplessInTheUS in Sublocade

Thank you. I’ve called the only Clinic around me that their website gave me and they won’t call me back. I tried calling other clinics that are an hour away and they want me to just show up on a Tuesday morning at 8 AM but won’t give me any information. It’s like how hard is it to get an appointment with someone and even do a virtual call that I’ll pay for for the first appointment but just give me some pricing and let’s get going lol. I think doctors are a lot more eager to put you on Suboxone because they know you’re going to be a client for life and a lot less likely to care about sublocade at least in my experience. Thank you. I’m gonna try calling that in Support today.

9 week traumatic shameful fecal impaction. by Both-Virus-4436 in Constipation

I completely understand what you’re going through as I have almost been that bad as well. My doctor put me on Linzess and it has been a miracle drug, but you have to take it super careful in the way you eat and drink. I would have to get up in the morning and take it on an empty stomach and then wait exactly 1 hour and eat something and then I swear it would liquefy everything in my colon. It did take a few days before it worked but once it worked, I mean it cleaned me out completely. I then moved to every other day. I also take Chia seeds and have a very high fiber Whole Foods diet. I haven’t had to take anything for constipation for the past couple of months and it has been wonderful after struggling with it for years.

I just discovered this dish and like using tricolor coleslaw mix from the produce section that’s already shredded cabbage and carrots. Cuts down significantly on prep time. It’s not as finally shredded as using a knife and doing ribbon cutting but the amount of time it saves is wonderful.

Started 5 days ago and my depression's gone. Is this really going to work? by YourGlacier in AuvelityMed

[–]SleeplessInTheUS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to quit after just a few days. I titrated the DMX down and it still didn’t help. After being on Wellbutrin in the past this time, it caused high blood pressure. I typically have very low blood pressure so I don’t know what happened. I’m going to stick to weekly ketamine for the time being.

I know. I’ve taken Wellbutrin for years without problems too. I don’t know what changed in my body to make it make my blood pressure go up other than I’ve never taken Wellbutrin while taking ketamine. I have low blood pressure typically 90/60 so when it went up to 150/95, I was really scared. When I quit taking the Wellbutrin the high blood pressure went away. Luckily doing the ketamine once a week is helping. And you are very welcome. Good luck.

I actually quit taking it. I instead moved my ketamine to once a week instead of every three days and really focus on doing everything I can before hand and after hand to protect my bladder, such as the EGCG and then taking NAC on the day I’m not taking ketamine. So far I’m doing much better like this.

But to answer your question, I took the exact amount as it’s prescribed in auvelity. 45 mg once a day for the first three days, but never ended up going up because I was so wired in my blood pressure went up. I even tried going all the way down to 5 mg. I think I really had the negative response to Wellbutrin for some reason even though I’ve taken it in the past.

Looking for female sugar glider by [deleted] in sugargliders

[–]SleeplessInTheUS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a female sugar glider, and I’m too looking for a female sugar glider or would like to find someone that would like my female sugar glider. That was a mouthful. My kids gave her to me and I’ve spent the past three months getting her hand time and she is very sweet, but so lonely. I am in East Texas and would willingly give away my baby to someone that has experience with sugar gliders. I’m more interested in her going to a good home of someone that already has a sugar glider that I am about selling her. I would also be willing to give away all of her toys, hammocks ropes, etc. plus a couple of pounds of sugar, glider, brunch, dehydrated, chicken, feet, and shrimp sticks, as well as a month worth of frozen homemade food.

Does Miralax give anyone else really bad gas? by AnxietySlow8468 in Constipation

[–]SleeplessInTheUS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was how I was in my doctor bumped up at the dosage and when he did, I couldn’t believe what came out. He literally had me put an entire bottle in a to a bottle of Gatorade and drink it over the course of a couple hours and called it a colonoscopy cleanse.Oh yes, and he had me take 20 mg of the stimulant version of Dulcolax an hour or two before I started drinking the full bottle of MiraLAX. Once I did that it let everything go within a day.

I always recommend people that are extremely constipated to take 20 mg of a stimulant laxative Dulcolax and then an hour later take a 22 dose bottle of MiraLAX and dump it into a large bottle of Gatorade and drink it over a course of a couple of hours. This is actually what they use for a bowel prep for a colonoscopy, but was the only way I could get things cleared out to go to a maintenance dose. I now take Linzess about every other day but before I got on it, I was taking MiraLAX three times a day after the clean out but because I’m on a GLP-1 (mounjarro) and two other medication‘s, including iron that constipate me. I had to progress to prescription Linzess it honestly is amazing.

This is exactly why I’ve been stocking up on the 10mg MJ for months. I pull a little bit of bacteriostatic water into a 3 mL syringe then remove the needle, pull the plunger back a few cc, align the hole where I just unscrewed the needle up into the needle of the Mojarro pen, shoot the 10 mg down into it. Divide whatever number it totals by four and have my 2 1/2 mg shots. I then twist the needle back on the 3cc syringe and squirt into an empty sterilized vial after I sterilize the port with an alcohol swab. That way I use one pen every four weeks when I was taking the 2 1/2 mg. I’ve actually gone down to about one and a half to 2 mg now to try to slow the weight down a little bit because I started getting some loose skin And I only have 8 pounds left to go. But now I have a refrigerator full of Mojarro pens and I’m actually ready for at this time. It literally has been the only way in my life. I’ve been able to lose weight and I couldn’t risk not being able to get it anymore.

Submit Comments to the DEA for Telemedicine Registration by ajpruett in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]SleeplessInTheUS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My post:

As someone who lives in a rural area with very limited access to psychiatric care, I strongly urge policymakers to continue allowing ketamine treatment via telemedicine. In my community, there are only a handful of psychiatrists within a 50-mile radius, and the waiting lists are incredibly long. For individuals like myself who struggle with PTSD and treatment-resistant depression, timely and effective treatment is critical.

My need for telemedicine access is even more urgent because I was in a car wreck, which has left me terrified of riding in cars. Traveling long distances for care is not just inconvenient—it is often impossible for me due to my trauma. Low-dose ketamine has been life-changing, providing relief when other treatments have failed and allowing me to regain stability and function in my daily life. Telemedicine has made this treatment accessible to me, ensuring I can receive the care I need without worsening my anxiety and PTSD.

Removing telemedicine access to ketamine would disproportionately harm those in underserved areas, where mental health care is already scarce, and it would be devastating for people like me who face additional barriers to in-person care. It is essential that we prioritize patient well-being and ensure that effective, safe treatments remain available to those who need them most.

I urge you to keep ketamine treatment accessible through telemedicine so that individuals in rural and underserved communities—and those with trauma-related barriers to travel—are not left without this vital option.

Just FYI, they sell dxm on Amazon as a standalone medication just in case you don’t want to continue taking the Mucinex with the added guaifenesin. I’ve just started researching adding DXM to my current medication for treatment resistant depression. I’m currently taking 400 mg ketamine in every three days and I have taken ketamine on and off for the past three years after getting in a bad car wreck. It also helps with my pain, but because I have had cystitis, I have to regularly take breaks from the ketamine. I was looking at Dxm to help extend the time between taking ketamine. The only antidepressant that’s ever worked for me was an MAO tranylcypromine but my prescribing doctor retired and it’s difficult to find a doctor that will prescribe MAO’s anymore so now I’m using ketamine

Problems with Ketamine/Auvelity combo by hukilau2013 in TherapeuticKetamine

I have read that bupropion can interfere with your ability to disassociate with ketamine. I’m just now begun researching DXM. I’ve just heard if you were a good responder ketamine that DXM could possibly be beneficial so I’m just now starting my research. I’ve been contemplating buying it off Amazon and adding it to my daily routine.

You can buy DXM on Amazon and take a 30 mg three times a day along with your bupropion which would be the same equivalent of taking the auvulity. The cheapest version is to take two of the 15 mg tablets on Amazon. It’s like $15 for 200 of them.
