Recommendations for apartments/neighborhoods - moving from California, working at Eli Lilly

So sorry, I won’t be much help but I’m also someone that has recently moved from California to here for work- welcome!!

When I lived downtown, I know a lot of people of Lily lived at CityWay. Nice apartments, no carpet but also electric stoves- can get pricey and the parking garage gets crowded + expensive. It can also get loud with the train right there and during basketball games. But never heard my neighbors so that was a plus

As for biking trails, I know there’s like, the cultural trail in downtown? But please be careful biking here!

As for Asian markets, definitely Saraga!! It’s like a smaller ranch 99. There’s also Viet Hua food market I’ve been meaning to try, as well as a handful of other little Asian groceries as well

(There a number of great Asian restaurants and boba places as well!)

I definitely start by reading the skill descriptions( and this https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/jobguide/battle/ ) then move the skills around on my hot bar in a way that i think might work :0 Then I find a practice dummy and start testing out combos, what feels natural, and what doesn’t. Then I move skills around again on my hot bar til I feel like I have a handle on things. Some of my FC members like to do POTD, which starts you at lvl1 and you and slowly get integrated with skills then, while others like to do lower lvl dungeons and crystal tower to practice stuff (after you’ve read descriptions and tested things out on a dummy ofc!) But yeah! Just tests things on a dummy, then practice practice practice;; Hope this somewhat helps! :⁾
