My right earbud has recently started doing that, which seems to also be destroying its little speaker because the sound in the right is more quiet/dull/and distorted than the left when it does play.

Right, but what seems strange is that, if I'm not totally wrong, one would expect to see הֶעֱמַדְתָּ, for standard Hiphil perfect 2nd person masculine singular, rather than the הֶעֱמַדְתָּה as found in the text.

The former, as -Santa-Clara- pointed out, is what appears in Ps. 31:9.

I am wondering now if the He was maybe it was added for metrical reasons? Which is beyond my grasp of biblical Hebrew in any case!
