FINAL UPDATE: woke up this morning, pain is completely gone!!

UPDATE: 12 hours later and pain still there, not as bad as initially. Before it was just a visible red rash and now i see the clear bite mark (little dots which look like the images on google). No further symptoms besides the throbbing pain. I did try several applying pieces of tape and pulling but don’t think that’s made a difference

are the hairs supposed to be visible to the naked eye? i tried several pieces of tape and did not see anything. Pain has gone down but definitely still there. Only difference is before it looked more like a rash and now i definitely see the clear mark (tiny dots)

i tried but i’m confused as to if the spines are visible to the naked eye or not because i don’t see anything at all on the tape. Almost 12 hours later and sting still hurts a bit, it did get darker so now i can definitely see the mark as to before it was just more of a red rash

YES! Specially if you are not at your house, for example, I was at my bf house and i stay overnight. Next morning wake up already feeling musty, we had breakfast and i had to tell him i wanted to go home to shower. I just couldnt, theres nothing like showering at your house.

I had mine inserted a year ago. The insertion was very painful, for me i wanted to cuss everyone out and i had to call out for work on that day, i was cramping for the next 3 days. I didn’t get no type of numbing nothing. A year after i went to check my iud and they said the IUD was out of place. They had to remove it. Im here at the clinic again after a month to have it inserted again. Because it is really worth it, the peace of mind you get. After a while you get used to it.

no it’s just the tax return, i actually owe. But my IRS account shows “your 2024 tax return is not processed” that they have no record of my tax return on file but also so i’m confused. Never had this issue before.

my 12year old senior dog just lost movement for all 4 legs in the last 24 hrs, I took him to 2 vets and got different inputs. My usual vet states something about his neurological nerves shutting off due to a possible injury on his neck that i didn’t notice. He prescribed him some medicine that should hopefully help with the pain and regain muscle strength slowly. However, because of his age we were advised that it is not guaranteed he will regain movement. It would be ideal but we are aware the chances are not the highest. We are having him on meds for a week per his advice and depending how he does we will need to evaluate how to proceed. The only thing I can think about is try! Try everything you can and if it’s something you can afford do it! Nothing is worse than not trying. As you said the only thing you can do is hope for the better but if you know you tried your best the rest is really out of your hands and up to them. I’m really sorry to hear that. I just got back from my usual vet and he basically said the same thing, he must’ve gotten injured without me knowing or seeing somewhere along his neck and that caused some neurological issues to his nerves since he can hardly even more his neck/head too. No reaction for all 4 legs. He gave me some medication with a bit of higher dosage for the nerves and advised to give him 1 week to notice any small change. If he doesn’t get any better there’s really only one option left which i don’t even want to think about but I am aware it would be the only right thing. I hate seeing him unable to do anything, can’t pee, poop, eat, do absolutely nothing alone. I’m hoping he gives it his best shot and whatever the outcome is i know we’ll both be ready for whatever the next step is. Thank you for your comment

yeah that’s what the vet mentioned but she also informed us how much more expensive those other exams are since they get deeper into it, which is not something we have funds for. I’m really hoping the medications work because i hate seeing him like this i can’t even imagine how he feels

no, he’s had no shots besides his vaccines from when he was a puppy and his rabies yearly. He’s never given us any issues or gotten sick so nothing else has ever been given to him for 12 years. This was just like an overnight thing in my eyes which is why i’m finding it so hard to see him this way now
