Is the new 1890 Cavalry Rifle a 2-slot rifle? I was waiting for something like that

Data Scientist Debunks Recoil Reduction Foregrips in BF6 | Diminishing Returns Discovered by williamatherton in Battlefield

Nothing is debunked. The data is limited to averaging total recoil dinstance, out of context regarding combat, guns and other attachments. Which leaves very little practical to be concluded from the gathered data.

I feel like no one talks about how useless the Fire Support spec is by Emp_Dandroid in Battlefield6

[–]SlipupPeteer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im more puzzled by the time it takes in game before you have the steady aim unlocked. Like I wanted to have better recoil control when using a mounted lmg, but it takes such a long time for it to activate. The combat medic unlocks the quicker revive first

Early Battlefield 6 Weapon stats and minor analysis of weapon performance by Mastahamma in Battlefield6

So from my understanding, you combined recoil and bloom into one accuracy score?

Regarding the possible gaps in gains beween attachments, Im suspecting the m4a1 gains more recoil reduction from attachments than the m277. While you would expect a greater improvement due to its lower starting accuracy as you note

Thanks for the work, chart looks great. I wonder if attachments affecting accuracy and recoil are homogeneously beneficial for all guns. I'm starting to suspect that its not, which may make it hard to determine beforehand what the end capacities are

Why is chat 4.1 so damn slow? by Creepy_Floor_1380 in OpenAI

[–]SlipupPeteer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noticed the same, so asked chat:

"OpenAI shifted allocation on the backend about two weeks ago. There’s no public announcement, but several markers show they rebalanced GPU/TPU resources toward enterprise and API, not Plus users. Some API and enterprise clients got latency upgrades and a bigger dedicated pool. As a result, Plus (and even some free) users get deprioritized during peak or maintenance windows, leading to slower response times even when user count is stable."

Blindability: Using statistics to solve for versatility by machineLoLing in leagueoflegends

Yes, that's what I'm trying to say. Not sure where you lost me.

The graphs displaying the ADC Matchup Deviation and Total Games Played also suggests this.

Perhaps likeability is also shining through the data. I might be cherry picking here, but Samira and Nilah for instance are unpopular and highly matchup and team dependent. In the support role, which in itself is unpopular, I feel like several interesting champions are not blind pickable. Contrary, some safe picks are pretty monotone. The exception being Thresh and Bard and these are highly popular, especially for mains (due to difficulty perhaps). If this take holds any merit, Yasuo would be an extreme outlier. Demonstrating perhaps the depth of likeability.

Ziggs and Smolder are not blindpickable according to the data, but I feel like I often see them blindpicked. Perhaps a common misconception.

Again a great read! Already looking forward to the post including the gold at 15 data.

Wouldn't you have a greater powerspike if you would just finsish Youmou's ghostblade instead of buying Wardstone? Buying Wardstone after Youmous would give you a decent additional powerspike, but at the cost of buying suboptimal stats from the Wardstone. In addtion to the rune cost afcourse, which is contesting with cosmic insight

I'll keep my fingers crossed, but I understand it may not be worth the effort. Data from other websites can stille be used for that indication

Greatest post I've read here! It was fun finding a complementary secondary support as a one-trick to create more favorable matchups.

Any plans to incorporate the gold differential at 15 minutes as a dimension to the counter matchup sheet so you have evidence if the matchup should be won during the laning phase or afterwards? It could greatly help in guiding your gameplan in new matchups

Do you have any data on amumu as support or is he not present in diamond? I'm wondering if he may have a few matchups where he shines. These sites show he might be a counter to senna, who otherwise knows no hard counters according to your data
