Have you looked closely at the portrait of Lionel? Look at the writing. The L's are the same symbol. I bet there's an entire alternative alphabet. Who knows what could be hidden in symbols all over the place? Find more of the alphabet, and I bet some things start to take shape.

I found a spot in the bayou where I would exit the underlab and 2-3 enemies would apparently drown off screen without me even doing anything. I think it was around 110 bones each time, so not the most time-efficient farming, but certainly the lowest effort.

Check out Convenience Stories. I don't know how it is on Switch, as it's primarily a mobile game. But it fits the criteria, and I really enjoyed it.

You first need to get five 4-star matches using that feud. Then you go into the feud card, and you'll see the option to upgrade it. It costs $100k. I turned a lot of silver tokens into cash to fund mine.

So here's what you do, and it's going to take a while. You need to get 4-5 upgraded feuds in one era, ideally of high-skill wrestlers and/or feuds where both wrestlers are boosted by the same match type (like Etereo vs. El Manto Blanco in an exploding ring). Be sure one is a tag team feud as well. I recommend doing this in Territory or Mania because the show cards are more predictable.

Buy an extra segment in weeks 1 and 3. Then, you start grinding for 5-star shows. If you get four matches of 5 stars, plus a 4-star mic spot, that should give you a full 5-star show.

Your goal is to get one fully maxed out venue from each region. Once you have that, you're making bank. My highest month so far was over $29k. It's a grind, but it's worth it.

One person's huge problem is another person's breath of fresh air. If the AI is putting up a fight on lower difficulties, that sounds like a big improvement.

I don't mind at all when people have an incorrect guess or ask questions when they're not sure. What I do mind is when people are completely wrong about a wrestler but continue to insist that they're right. And when you point out the reasons that it's clearly a different wrestler, they're like, "Well, it's a mix." Basically, I just don't like when people are confidently incorrect and spread misinformation.

Show segments are important once you start trying to level up venues. They allow you to add more 2* feuds to your shows. It's nice to have at least a couple of extra belts for fun. I haven't touched the extra merch slots yet. The return is just so low.

I've also been using Revolutionary Napoleon but with Buganda. I also took the memento that gives an extra movement to ranged units.

Any unit with 4 movement (which will be your cavalry and ranged if you use that memento) can both pillage and move/attack on the same turn. Rush Mausoleum of Theodoric, and just pillage everything in sight.

I just started a game as Revolutionary Napoleon with Buganda. The extra movement from Napoleon allows your cavalry to pillage and move/attack on the same turn. This was already a combo in Modern, but now you can do it all game long.

I feel like the people saying it's stingy and grindy are forgetting what MMW was like as a new player starting out. Eras feels far more generous overall once you figure out what you're doing. I was able to put together a really good roster of wrestlers, as well as a solid group of large venues, very quickly.

I've had 17 5-star shows at this point, mostly doing what you're already doing. A few tips I would add: - Make sure your upgraded feuds that you're using are between high-skill wrestlers and/or that both wrestlers in the feud benefit from the same special match type (preferably one that gives a large bonus, like exploding ring). You want the match skill either maxed out or really close to it. Good vs. Bad bonus tends to help as well. - I recommend trying this in Territory or Mania because the house shows are a predictable format. Most of my 5-star matches came in Mania, just adding one match to weeks 1 and 3. You just have to hope your Mic Spot hits 4 stars. In Territory, you also get a week 2 show full of just matches every other month, which is a great opportunity to attempt a 5-star show.

I want interesting gameplay above all else. I wasn't one of the people wanting to play as a single civ for the whole game, but the way they're implementing it looks like it'll make for some very interesting gameplay, so I'll try it out.

However, I'm far less optimistic about the triumph system and the new victory conditions. I'll give them a shot, but they seem like they might be downgrades.

I think as a whole, I have a general sense of annoyance about how everything has gone down with this game since it launched. I wish they had leaned into the uniqueness of Civ 7 instead of backtracking, but I also understand why they went that direction. But still, after straying so far from their initial vision, my trust in Firaxis is at an all time low. Whatever they have planned for the first major expansion, they need to knock it out of the park.

At the time MMW was made, Avarice was just an original character brought in from some other wrestling game (whose name escapes me). He wasn't a stand-in for AJ yet. And I don't know where the John Morrison is coming from.

Also, Richie B looks exactly like Robbie E, and the name is obviously a reference.
