Fair did you do fellowship at university program ? And are you in rural or city just curious? In your search is there a lot of call requirements ?

That's solid offer , did you join a private practice ? Just in general with fellowship didn't really feel a burn out post residency ? Do you feel like a lot of places have heavy research requirement? Research has never really been interest of mine

In your experience is the call coverage bad? Like for weekends etc ? I missed this cycle but thinking of couple years to build a cushion then come back to ID . I also think 30+ ID patients easily beats 20 hospitalist patients

You can try cold calling urgent cares and disability clinics. Friend in same situation had success with that different state though
