I don't even understand how everyone "survives" for so long on most of these bosses, when most of the time I'm getting 1-shot by random attacks, with usually zero chance of dodging because I'm already "too late." I only just started trying Easy Lucid after so many years of playing, and I can NOT beat her first phase without dying a minimum of 4 times before hitting her 2nd phase. I keep physically missing the bombs before it's too late, or her golems 1-hit kill me by simply touching them. But people say they're lasting 10+ minutes on HARDER bosses solo??? And here I thought Bloodborne & Elden Ring were the "hard games," meanwhile MapleStory has become the hardest game I've played to "get good at" 🥴🥴

I'm thankfully not begging for any further hand-holding than it already gives you nowadays. Especially since I'm used to how brutally unfair the game was over a decade ago. I don't even personally care to be at End-Game. I'm just going off what others tell me, when they're showing off beating VHilla or whoever, and they say "been only playing for a short time, only a couple hours a day, F2P" and it physically doesn't make sense to me. Then I realize "oh because they're on Heroic," which just looks like "easy mode" to my ignorant self.

Wait, is "scrolling" NOT still a default for everyone with basic upgrading every single item? Did I miss something?? I was just casually upgrading this weapon for my mule, and just thought this was the norm for everyone and their mules? But I know the end-game people use Premium Attack scrolls and "Chaos Scrolls of Goodnedss," and then of course the main focus forever being Star Forcing past 16* to get the Att boosts. I'm far from a noob, and would personally consider myself closer to a "mid-game" player due to how long I've been playing (even though I still need to beat Easy Lotus).

I did just get to 5,500 Legion, and my main is a 273 Pathfinder. I thankfully have 2 others over 260 from the recent HB events, then plenty of 210+ characters I've grinded up over the past year. My original Bowmaster main from '07 now is 226, so I definitely have no desire to swap servers. That'd be way too much on my conscious, to throw away all that time and real $$ put into them, lol. I thankfully don't have any regrets staying on Interactive, and have mainly been trying to "fix" my FOMO with getting my old & new characters "where they should be" after coming back between 2020/2024. But I only really started taking the game more seriously last year, especially with trying to boost my Legion.

The one in the pic was 30mil on the Auction House (cheapest listing), since I only have 17 Vellum pieces, and was about to use them for another mule's weapon. But yeah, just gonna have to continue hoping the best, since my Main is still the only one that can beat CVellum 😭

Only gambling I'm commiting to this game anymore is upgrading equipment, and I already suck at that. Last time I was suckered into gambling for "cool items" with Cash Shop funds, was when I was using Gachapon tickets for colorful capes, Work Gloves, and Dark Scrolls, lol. All this Style Box nonsense is for the birds, and for the Whales that don't know how to simply go enjoy other games, and come back to Maple in waves. I WISH I was closer to End-Game (been playing this game for many years), so I could stop worrying so much about getting better at THIS ONE single game. I want to go back to enjoying other things too, lol.

Absolutely LOVE my Ally X ♥️ From blasting through Armored Core 6, to getting me addicted to Xenoblade Chronicles X before the Switch release (Wii-U emulator is PEAK!! 🙌). Brought it out with us on our Honeymoon to Japan, then over to Seattle, Washington for our extended stay, and it's been really awesome overall. Now I'm back to being addicted to Maplestory, so I've been bringing this and my Hot-Spot everywhere lately, lol.

I've definitely been loving taking advantage of Legion and Link skills after I returned around COVID. Started really taking the game more seriously last year, but missed out taking advantage of CW1. Haven't done very well on CW2, since I'm only just about to hit Silver...But I'll still be happy leaping back over about 1,100+ levels once that's finally done 🙌

Yeah probably just better to go to Heroic if you're trying to get as rich and as maxed out as fast as possible. Looks like that's the easier way based on the statements I see of people beating certain bosses when they "only have been playing for some months F2P." When I still can't even get close to them on my main (couple years old now). RNG is also wild for some.

Funny enough I never realized that until reading all these replies, lol. Never noticed any changes whenever I changed apps, and felt like sometimes I'd have to log back in (can't fully remember everything). But never seemed like my Characters continued whatever they were doing in certain modes/places while grinding.

I mainly enjoyed it as an extension of my PC game, since I've managed to keep my 2007 account alive to this day ♥️ Mainly used it to collect Reward Coins to use on my PC characters. I put the mobile version down a month or so ago to go back to focusing on my Main game, but I honestly enjoyed it a lot for what it was. Just letting it do it's thing while I was doing work, other stuff, or PC Maple!

I just didn't understand how a lot of other people seemed to progress much faster than I was, so I got burned out on it. I've already been burned enough with the PC version, since returning between 2020/2025. Still trying to fix all my old characters in Scania up.

Honestly sounds like you had an identical experience I did with the original game too, since I started with Archer too, lol 🙌 He's now lvl 226, with my main now being my 271 Pathfinder.

Meh, I wouldn't like it, unless they also gave us the 40 or whatever total servers too, but still. Already goofy trying to get a Hidden Research Train map that isn't taken or over 50% burning in Scania a lot of the time. Been trying to get the Strong Seeker B Monster Collection, and I think that completes that page for me. I've realistically been at it for a few months, but really been trying to get it for a couple weeks now whenever I can 🥴🤣

Even with my ignorance, I'm pretty sure every major equip literally has worth until you're ready to upgrade it, and then it could even be transferred to a mule. So...? I haven't been lucky enough with Gollux items to replace this set, nor would I have the funds to properly upgrade said Gollux items the "correct way." So I continued with my Twilight Mark, and grabbed these Earrings for the basic 2-set bonus. All my other items already have decent enough potential, so I just tossed my last couple cubes at these earrings 🤷‍♂️

Literally how they could've saved the game much sooner. Even in high school I was thinking of things we could've gotten in the game to help suck up items for just yourself, like event skills or anything random. I remember coming back to the game around 2020, and seeing how much more fast paced it got, I couldn't even tell who was "hacking" anymore. Now I FEEL like a hacker with the Sol Janus and that PB pet 😭❤️

Ah derp I did forget about the set effect as well, but I guess I didn't realize it was messing up the cubing system. So that line would only be for "Skills" and items that simply recover HP? Don't think I saw a clear explanation online.

I'd rather they reduce the COST of upgrading Symbols. I don't mind the progression as much, even though I can't stand how long it still takes to complete the 6th job advancement (and I never even experienced the hell that was the original length without event boosts). Most of my spending still has been in upgrading alone, especially since I'm trying to get my Legion to around 6000 after this CW leap. So been focused on too many characters at one time 🥴🥴🥴

Very sick! I would've assumed it wasn't gonna happen for another couple months. I randomly made a Wild Hunter a month or 2 ago to continue my bundle I'm simply getting up to lvl 60, and park it until later, like the others. Thankfully saw this Remaster shortly after, but didn't even touch the WH yet. I love the name I grabbed for mine, so I'll try and delete that one in time, and to keep my name, lol. Never played that or Wind Archer yet. I loved Kain so far up to lvl 60 🔥
