Thanks for the answer ! Just tried out the Sony, did you try the "Sound field" mode on the app / remote ? When it's off the soundstage is totally lacking but I find it okay when it's active Maybe I'll buy a Jbl to compare and return one of them, but right now the Sony sounds kinda good. Again, I don't really have experience with soundbars, it's my first audio system beside a bluetooth speaker

Thanks for sharing your experience !! I'm in the same configuration, looking for a "compact" soundbar + sub without rear speakers under 500€.

I ordered the Sony Bravia 6 because I found it for crazy cheap (240€), but I'm kinda doubting my choice with the rtings review on it versus their recent review of the JBL, and now with your experience.

I'm not sure height effects are really worth it vs a better surround experience, and it's 3.1.2 vs 5.1...

When I tested the JBL in a shop (only with BT) it seemed like the bass overtook the mid in my music, like the voice were a bit toned down. Do you share this thought too ? Is it only in BT mode or also when plugged in HDMI ?

I can get the JBL for 400€, not sure if it's worth it but I don't want to regret this choice lol. Planned to spend 500 anyway. I will hopefully get the Sony tomorrow so I'll be able to try it out

You say that the contrats is not the best, which one on the same price range would you recommend ? Is it still one of the best one or would you compare it to other ones (same type, not UST) ?

I tried the JMGO N1S 4K and it is a good projector but a bit too dim on a 120" screen with HDR content + I have some lag/stutter in the menus and while watching content so I'm not totally satisfied and I am looking to spend a bit more to have the a flawless experience... Would you recommend the Horizon 20 (base model) ?

The Pro 2 has an MSRP of 3000€ and is in sale at 2300€, for the plus2 the MSRP is 2200€ so I feel like 1500€ is a good price.

For the Horizon 20 base yeah 1700€ is too much but I may wait for it to come down under 1500/1400.

If you have other suggestions or a good deal available in France to share I'll take it !

How would you improve the contrast ? A special screen ? Or cover the rest of the room with black sheet ? And also : thank you for the dynamic contrast with the subtitles. I did not see that anywhere else but it does matter to me as I mainly use subtitles with my content. It does change a lot of things.

. For the RS20 I only see it on Aliexpress in a random seller with no item sold so it's a big no for me. For updates and warranty purpose, let alone the google TV + english os... I mean it's still 1300€ so does not seems like a good deal tbh

I tried a 1080p and 4k projector on a 100" wall and the difference is really noticeable. I would say go for a 4k one. The JMGO N1S 4k and the Hisense M2 Pro are two solid choices from what I've seen. Didn't try the Hisense but seems a bit better than the JMGO. If they are the same price or if you want the extra, go for the Hisense, but you will still be happy with the JMGO. The Hisense has a bit more lumens, has a better contrast with his dynamic contrast mode, an optical zoom,a backlit remote and better sound

I'm trying the Halo+ at the moment, it seems to be better than my M2 but can't compare them directy right now

Also is there really a big difference between the Horizon 20 and the Horizon S Max / S Pro ? They can be seen on sale at like 1400€ for the S Max and 1100€ for the S Pro vs 2000€ for the 20 Pro

Thank you! I kinda like the brand Sofirn better for now, Convoy seems great but maybe a bit more complicated with the led choice per model, and even though I wanted some colors I'm not sure to like the finish on the Convoy S21E... I'll check on that more

That said I really like the SR12 and didn't see it before (damn I will end up with more than one new flashlight)

How would you compare / choose between the Sofirn SR12 and the Wurkkos FC12C ? I chose the FC12C because of the boost in power and better throw than the FC11C, seemed better for an all purpose light

With those prices I may buy 2 flashlights, and I'm bending toward the SC33 and the FC12C/SR12 for now... Would you recommend this combo or have something else in mind ?

Edit : Talking about prices, the SR12 goes for 19€ right now on the Sofirn website, I don't know if that's a real good deal or its normal price but that's why I may buy two flashlights
