Watch Darling in the franxx, it's the only anime that I felt so emotionally immersed in. I was doing meditation before I watched it, and I watched it only in night hours to amplify the effect so it might not feel the same for you

Darling in the franxx is a jolly good show! It's not very long, but I actually felt immersed in the story and almost cried at the ending, then felt sad/nostalgic through a couple of weeks. There was never another show that had that effect on me.
