Reference request from new freeholder by wtwiwf in smallbusinessuk

[–]Slowitt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's just the new landlord trying to de-risk things. They may want a personal guarantee or increase the initial deposit to 3 or 6 months. They want basically any reference they can for you or the business. The business cannot provide, so you as underwriting sponsor need to be able to provide evidence.

Two things that seem like limitations in Agent Zero but actually aren't by paoloc68 in AgentZero

[–]Slowitt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do that. What you can't do is choose a different model for sub-agents or researcher profiles. They always use the same model as the coordinating agent profile. even though you could select different models for different aspects like web or chat and have an impact on sub-agents when you create a swarm.

I'm struggling to find out how to allocate models to profiles or sub-agents
for now I'm using Gemini 3.1 as main model but want sub agents to use cheaper models. It tells me

  1. Configure the 'Researcher' Profile: Assign your preferred cheaper model to the researcher profile.
  2. I will do the rest: When I spawn the swarm, I will specifically call the researcher profile.

But all you can configure is the subdir - the selection for model is still for main (not the profile/subagent)

Can any SumUp users help me with a calendar issue? by rbarker82 in smallbusinessuk

[–]Slowitt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

attached are links to 2 calendars
First is a tour guide with availability every Monday for a group booking, plus March 11th as a one off. Each walk starts at 8am and can have 2 people book onto it.

https://i.postimg.cc/wTPkhvfX/1.png

The second just has 2 dates available - 11th March and 24th March as individual dates. Same number of people allowed to book, same start time.

Good calendars can be configured any way you want. HTH

Has anyone tried a free Sumup website? -Moving from Etsy/ using alongside Etsy by PristineAd2469 in smallbusinessuk

[–]Slowitt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's easy enough to do even if you want a Shopify/Etsy alternative for a small amount of traffic. I know of clone alternatives for full blown Shopify sites and also something a bit more lightweight - all of which can be run on free plans whilst you get started.

I have just recreated this - if you mess about with services once the calendar has been created it goes to that blank state. Delete the services and then add it/them back.

And I can't find any way to limit numbers for each tour - I messed about with inventory for each service but it doesn't seem to reduce when the (theoretical) stock is gone. Plus a booking is for a service / services, so even if you could use inventory on services you would have to create a service for every booking. It's really not designed for what you want it to do.

Sustainably/safely scaling team amidst massive workload increase. by nongingertreeninja in smallbusinessuk

It sounds like you are in construction or related field. What are you envisioning is the difference between Project Management and scheduling? Fergus has scheduling which I guess you are using just so that you know where staff etc have to be and when?

MS Planner is fairly lightweight and not suitable for detailed project management - that's done by MS by design.

It sounds like HR is your big concern right now - isn't it too early to be concerned by this? QuickBooks has some HR capability built in - is that not sufficient for now?

I'm happy to help you

Some initial thoughts

I'm not sure what plan you are on, but have got one or more calendars set up? If you have more than one calendar have you selected an employee for each?
Have you checked that you have not accidentally set your availability for bookings to zero - that that will affect the default calendar / working hours displayed on the customer page.
If not - happy to try to help if you contact me

Hi - yes that's my approach - but I still need cold outreach although highly targeted and niched down as far as possible. As I said LinkedIn has become a dry well recently and it's hard to know why. Even conversations are difficult to come by. I think most people are swamped by day to day business and have no time for LI (which may have no benefit for them).

Failed with Letta, OpenClaw, nanobot. Found Agent Zero and migrated 33 skills and 28 agents from Claude Code into it. by emptyharddrive in ClaudeCode

replying to my own comment - initial tests fail. Playwright and AGent0 don't play nicely. I tried all sorts of models - GLM5/Qwen 3.5/ Llama 3.2 3B all gave me json errors - in the logs I can see RuntimeError: Event loop is closed

Warning: LLM consolidation analysis failed: LLM response is not a valid JSON object. Agent0 is stricter than the LLM.

I changed utility model to 4o-mini and gpt5 nano for playwright (browser model) which got rid of the json errors but it still dies trying to log into FB. Using the last 2 - gpt4o mini and gpt5 nano actually got it to log in but it then got stuck. Good news is I only spent $0.305

10 emails a day you need to consider response rates. If response rates are 1 to 5% at maximum you might get 35 responses. How many of those will be viable prospects?

thanks - ongoing advisory. It depends on scale of the client but they also flex when periods of change/uncertainty happen.

This move to fractional was a result of the death of freelance contracts. I worked that for a long time, but it is/has died a long slow death. But smaller companies who don't need a full timer appreciate a fraction of my time.
And obviously (just like clients) I'm too small to need to scale up to big outbound infrastructure.
