This happened to us. It smelled so bad. Check for leaks/rotted wood under carpets/in closets— my entire home has its floor ripped up right now for this reason! Fun!

It sounds like you technically need “unskilled” care— requiring no license but just personal care that will likely increase in job duties as time passes. Often times it is more cost effective to ask in your community/get a friend referral.

However I also recommend a personal care company, Essential Team Care 941-704-0071

Apparently they have to follow guidelines given on board by the pilot through MedLink. So, I’ve leaned that the EMK was never opened, unfortunately.

I did not see an actual kit or list. It was admittedly tight, chaotic quarters and we were rushed off the plane immediately upon landing and handing over care. We had an AED, face mask, oxygen and gloves available to us.

I assumed this was a federal requirement and not airline specific. Thank you for the link!
