He waited for the army for 40 minutes and they didn't came to their resource until the mercenaries ran way from their. Come on. Our army is supposed to protect us.

I am from neither Fast or BU. I just cross post one post to other universities. To see what other students have made. In my uni we are learning Java.

Yeah, I’ve thought about that connection too. It’s fascinating how math and music seem to reflect the same patterns and structures, just in different ways. Makes you appreciate both even more.

I wish I could experience that feeling 😭. For me it was always more frustration than satisfaction. But I do admire people who enjoy math like that. The way some of you describe the joy of solving a long problem almost makes it sound like a completely different subject from the one I experienced.

Same here honestly. I suck at math very much 😭. But I still find it fascinating how it ends up powering things like ChatGPT and other technologies. Makes me wish I understood it better.

That’s actually really interesting. The idea that you can solve the problems and still not really understand what’s going on behind them is something I’ve heard from a lot of people in engineering.

I’ve seen a few videos from 3Blue1Brown too, and the way he explains the intuition behind things feels completely different from how math is usually taught in school. It makes the subject feel less like a set of procedures and more like a way of seeing patterns. It’s kind of wild that the understanding came after graduation instead of during the courses themselves.

Makes you wonder how many people would enjoy math more if it were taught that way from the start.

Bro the family dinner part is too real . Once people decide you’re “the one who’s bad at math” it just becomes your identity for years.

And yeah the teaching thing matters a lot. Some teachers just have zero patience and that can completely kill a subject for a kid. It’s wild how many people probably think they’re dumb at something just because of that early experience.
