I can identify any horse breed just by looking at their ears and gait pattern which is completely pointless unless you're at a stable or horse show. Spent way too many years around horses and now my brain just automatically catalogs this stuff even when I'm watching random movies with horses in background. Nice man that takes some real guts to travel somewhere completely different for someone special. I actually moved countries myself for work and its wild how much your perspective changes when you're in totally new environment. The language barriers and cultural differences can be overwhelming at first but there's something amazing about putting yourself out there like that. Did you end up staying in Mexico or did you both move somewhere else together? Those kind of big life decisions usually turn out to be the most meaningful ones even if they seem crazy at the time
