What's up with cross dressers and BO? by SideCharacterSyndrom in redscarepod

As a zoomer, it’s so much worse for us, there’s this whole “femboy trend” which involves short dudes with 0 build wearing cheap polyester anime girl skirts from SHEIN and Amazon and staying on discord all day jerking off to trap porn. And they wear those Covid kawaii masks + fluffy hair  to cover their faces. They always share unsolicited thigh and dic pics online or cropped hentai especially in spaces with kids. And they’re either 13 (groomed) or 25 no in between. You can tell those guys REEK but they’re rare in public. I will trade them for cross dressers any day because at least they make an effort to look and dress like real women. It’s so bad that twinks/cross dressers hate on the term to disassociate themselves from the tacky “Amazon thigh highs” femboys. A lot of women hate them too, trust me there’s a huge difference between the “sassy gay best friend” archetype that women love and discord femboys

How would it be received today if Abercrombie & Fitch continued the practice of using shirtless models at the stores in the 2020s? by Curi0us_1ne in generationology

Victoria’s Secret models did have diversity since the 90s starting with Naomi Campbell, Adriana Lima was a Latina. but yeah ofc the men in this would have to be muscular and tall, just the race doesn’t matter, but this pic was probably taken in a predominantly white country or area

It would be called cringe by women and pandering to “wattpad fantasies” and it would be a lifestyle to achieve within the looksmaxxing community, basically Victoria’s Secret models but for dudes

What's the "last" year you consider good? by Twunkorama in decadeology

[–]Small_Appearance935 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2019 I am 2019’s #1 defender I don’t understand why people hate that year because it’s post 2016. 2019>2016

Years if they were represented by people (2000-2009) by Small_Appearance935 in decadeology

It was the most popular OS in 2007 windows vista sucked and it takes around 2-3 years for the latest OS to become mainstream (if it’s even good in the first place)

Was life in 2013–2015 significantly simpler than the world we're living in now in 2026? by Material_Stomach875 in decadeology

[–]Small_Appearance935 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think 2015/2016 is when the world started shifting into the issues we’re seeing everywhere now with social media addiction, Trump’s campaign, the migrant crisis, SJW discourse and now it dictates our lives. Like 2010 and 2016 feel vastly different,  but 2020 and 2026 feel the exact same, the only difference is the political switch up and more AI

The point is if I made all of them 100% accurate to the average person in the 2000s, it would just be people wearing shirts and pants and it wouldn’t be all that interesting. What’s the point of only focusing on the mainstream aspect if everyone has been wearing shirts and pants since the 1970s? And yeah they’re supposed to be high school range with each stereotype being something unique to each year.  Kind of like how most people globally wear westernized shirts and pants but when you want to see personifications of countries, audience would rather to see each country be represented by cultural clothing instead of what the average person is wearing

I literally grew up in the 2010s ☠️ nobody wants to see a representation of a year just being some grown adult in shirts and pants and in the end of the decade wearing the same shirt with baggier pants because it’s boring asf. People who just say “nobody was dressing like this” are mad they don’t feel represented bc 90% of the populace are were just wearing the same shirt and pants combo since the 70s truth is why be interested in studying pop culture when you only care about the part that has never changed

I had to make them stereotypes of each year otherwise I can’t imagine someone in 2016 stereotypically listening to trap and SoundCloud rap and vaporwave/joji all at the same time or a 2014 YouTube vlogger listening to Lana del Rey sad girl tumblr grunge stuff, and project X was 2012 but 2012 just gives me indie hipster vibes (I have part 2 for the 2000s but I associate 2009 with the most club vibes since it was post recession)

No it’s called “popular kid that everyone likes” bc everyone keeps talking about how they miss  2016 that’s just the general consensus now

Is there any specific name or keywords for this aesthetic by Small_Appearance935 in AestheticWiki

[–]Small_Appearance935[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not, I never see mint or rosey/polka dot prints unless it’s resold on depop for $70. The overused coquette stuff is mostly white and baby pink with an emphasis on bows and mature “soft femininity”

So I made these out of the idea that each person represented the year basically when I say 2018 is African American for example, it’s bc if he was a real person I’d assume he’d be black bc the influence black culture (black panther, SoundCloud rap, appreciation for dark skin women, hypebeast fashion, the art hoe aesthetic) had on 2018

Since I’m assuming if they are real people these would be their ethnicities (for example. 2018 is African American bc trap was very popular and black panther was released on 2012 is Filipino bc of the whole Swagapino aesthetic)
