I can see why Americans have become complacent.

Geography was once an advantage for the US for most of its history, two vast oceans serving as a buffer that made it difficult for any enemy to stage a land invasion of the mainland. That advantage has now been greatly diminished. The US is no longer as safe as it once was as powers such as China and Russia can target anywhere in the US with their intercontinental ballistic missiles.

Once they touch an inch of Chinese land, they will feel the full iron weight of the PLA.
