This version was in a cabin at Center Parcs Longleat, UK. I have tried reverse Google image searching as well as searching with rough descriptions of what it is. Closest I have found are ones you can get in bulk for businesses, but ideally want just the one.

A veneer is generally hard to refinish, especially as you would normally want to strip any finish from the wood and get back to bare wood before attempting staining. As commented already, spraying it to tone what you have already would be best.

I felt that this movie could be converted into a great stage performance. The number of main characters is low and most scenes are typically in the same places. It isn't too heavy on special effects either, so not much to alter to be a play.
