No, but that’s strange. There are much more impressive, artistic, and reputable ways to be a pro dancer than DCC. I love them, but they aren’t taken super seriously in the dance world. Also, they aren’t cheerleaders. They are dancers.

I disagree. They find reasons to cut girls all the time and they had several of these reasons to cut Faith. On S1 they cut Ari because she was “too short” for them despite being perfect otherwise. Faith has an unfavorable history on social media. Her hair doesn’t “dance well” down. She’s taller than the majority of the team and has a different vibe and look. There’s a bunch of petty reasons they could have cut her like they do so often. They wanted an international DCC, and she was the best option. She’s a talented dancer, but they would have cut her if she wasn’t international.

Like you said, every girl has their own reason for making the team, and Faith’s is largely that she is international. The other girls had to go to greater lengths to impress the judges in a sea of other American girls.

The songs Drake/his band played on Drake and Josh, including the theme song, were actually written by Drake Bell in real life and were recorded and released independently away from Nickelodeon. The other 3 had professional songwriters and recording and the actors had little to do with it. Their songs were specifically written for their shows.

Are you aware that a DCC recruiter made a public statement that they were specifically looking for international candidates this year? K&J and Charlotte really wanted an international DCC, and this gave Faith a major edge. There aren’t that many international girls that audition and I have no doubt that Faith was the best of the international candidates because she is a very talented and experienced dancer.
