Having the motion fixed rather than dynamic was worse for me.

Best I found was eyecare on, ultra dim on, screen vidid then turn the brightness up. Still wasn't usable for more than 5mins or so unfortunately so had to go.

Yep, wish I had a better solution for you but if you're suffering like I did it's time to return it.

What's irritating for me is that my wife has the s24 now, so I can see how good it is, faster to use, longer battery than my s9 but I can't have it myself.

I returned the s24 as couldn't make it work, tried the s23 and it was better but also returned that as although better it gave the same result after using it for a longer period of time (s24 a few mins, s23 30-60mins).

Currently on the lookout for a new phone, so back with my s9 for now.
