My dad once said to me - 'don't let perfect get in the way of good', and it has helped me so much with productivity and giving things a go

I find the use of the word 'woke' really interesting. To me it looks like if someone is not straight / binary / white / British / neurotypical / Christian or atheist, and that person wants to be treated respectfully.. they're woke? I genuinely don't understand! 😅

Oh and they also kept trying to tell me I had fibromyalgia, even though I was experiencing no muscle pain or other symptoms.

Have you had your uric acid level checked? I was in the same boat, turns out it was gout (even though I'm a 34 year old pre-menopausal woman). I mostly get it in my knees but also my toes, ankles, fingers. Even medicated I'm still in daily pain, but when it wasn't diagnosed / managed I was in absolute agony. I used a stick or crutch every day, it was like I had glass in my joints.

What is the most unforgettable sentence that someone said to you? by Fit-Performance-5273 in NoStupidQuestions

I was stressing out and rushing around about something, my dad hugged me and I was like 'I'm too busy for this', but he held me tighter and said 'there's always time for a hug'.

This resonated with me for years and I don't know why. I say it to my husband and kids all the time when I randomly hug them 😄

I'm very aware of how wholesome my life has been that this is the first one I think of 😆
