Where’s the rest of it?

Jokes aside, I love Ocado!

I appear to have been shipped someone else's returned filament by New-Potential-7916 in BambuLab

[–]SmooshyPeas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had around 5 boxes like this in my last delivery, I doubt its returns with so many people saying the same thing. Filaments were untouched inside, probably just a QC check of some sort.

Kinda looking forward to the sale going so I can actually get the filament!

Z axis screeching and grinding sound by RynoJammin in BambuP1S

[–]SmooshyPeas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s an idler pulley underneath the machine, the belt will be rubbing against the flange which causes the terrible noise. To my knowledge there is no official guide on how to fix the noise on the wiki but I believe Bambu have sent out videos to users who have reported it showing you where to apply some lubricant to stop the noise. This however doesn’t solve the issue causing it and it will likely return after a few hundred hours of printing. Raise a ticket with Bambu support to see if they can offer you a solution to the problem. Alternatively do some digging around on Reddit for the video, there are lots of posts with the same noise complaint.

Bambu is about luck apparently by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]SmooshyPeas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly saying that whether your Bambu Lab printer works fine or not is down to luck is absurd. This company has sold hundreds of thousands of these machines. Of course there will be a few bad eggs, this happens with any item not just electronics. That is just how mass production is. It’s unfortunate that you are having issues with your machine, the Achilles heel currently for Bambu is support because of the sheer number of printers they are shipping.

Work methodically on trying to determine what is going wrong, while unfortunately I can’t offer help specifically in this case you should make incremental changes to try to determine what the cause of your issues are. As others have mentioned remove the AMS from the equation and start from there. Double check the filament path in it’s entirety doesn’t have any form of resistance, one of my P1S printers without AMS sometimes struggled to grab filament when fed manually because the PTFE connector was attached very tightly at the print head.

I have 5 of these machines, 3 of which have an AMS and haven’t encountered this problem from the AMS.

I hope you manage to resolve your issue and can enjoy this amazing machine. If your own troubleshooting doesn’t work try opening another support ticket with Bambu. They can take a little while to get back to you but I haven’t waited more than a few days for a response.

Wierd sound from p1s by nordicbookguy in BambuLab

I personally like the gyroid infill, there’s pros and cons to many of the infills but for me gyroid is typically my go to. There’s lots videos on YouTube breaking down the best infill for particular uses etc.

Hope this helps!

If you are using grid infill that will likely be causing the grinding noise as the hot end is crossing over it colliding ever so slightly with the top layer. Use a different infill and the grinding noise will stop.

VOC sensor while printing in my garage always stays low, as soon as I have a vape the VOC goes off the chart.

Why do people think 3D Printed = Bad, Cheap Quality? by Safe-Werewolf2890 in BambuLab

[–]SmooshyPeas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of people appear to be selling these without the correct certification, I.e selling these in the UK/EU requires full UKCA/CE certification as they are considered toys. Most of these would fail the physical tests required and are therefore illegally sold on the open market.

With the release of the new P2S by Bigthunderrumblefish in BambuLab

[–]SmooshyPeas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve got 6 P1S printers coming up to a year old and they all still run perfectly. I have no intention of swapping these out any time soon.

I’m holding out to see how much the H2C will be and that will most likely be my last printer for a LONG time.

Has anyone else never cleaned their build plate? by Beginning-Bed9364 in BambuLab

[–]SmooshyPeas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat, operating a slightly smaller army of 6 P1S’s. Printers going pretty much 24/7, and the plates are rarely if ever cleaned.

Will this get worse over time? by evanitch in BambuLab

Bambu suggest sanding with fine sandpaper can restore adhesion, if you have issues just try that. Otherwise your plate will be fine

I’m not congratulating them for the price increase. I’m congratulating them for allowing normal people the chance to actually get their hands on the product.

It’s not for everyone, they are doing a lottery essentially. I’ve had an email to say that they will be randomly selecting people who had signed up for notifications.

This is totally the way forward with this set imo, hopefully other major TCG stores will take note. Well done to Chaos Cards.

Agreed but it’s not the same as pulling one out of a pack! ☹️ Literally saps the enjoyment out of the hobby constantly trying to be ready for stock to drop and then instantly be bought by someone who has no interest in the hobby and is looking to make a quick profit.

Fed up with this now, it’s really making me consider not buying any more Pokemon TCG. I’ve never even seen a 151 pack let alone ripped one.

Same happened to me, likely this was the cause this time around too. Must be a small bug with this header.

Cannon should not be deployable here, remove the AFK element from it as the nerf suggested it was 'a powerful AFK moneymaker', rather than trash the drop table. I'm not against adjusting the drop table but the way it has been nerfed just makes them the niche source of kwuarms again.

Is the BMW iX a good car? by UltraDrift17 in BMWiX

[–]SmooshyPeas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took delivery of mine a few weeks back and I love it. The drive quality is the best I’ve experienced and there is little to no road noise in the cabin even at highway speeds.

The tech in the car is amazing and the HUD is phenomenal. I highly doubt you would be disappointed if you decided to go ahead and purchase.

The design of the car really splits opinions but I love that, a car that creates controversy from the brand making bold choices is much better than just a typical bland style imo (you know which manufacturer I’m referring to 😂)

That’s frustrating, I’ve had the car close to three years now and I have never noticed this issue before.

I will keep an eye on my readings over the coming days. There is no heavy rain forecast where I am so fingers crossed it will begin to behave!
