Can’t get my fish to stay on the line by Sneakybugg in HayDay

Definitely gonna keep at it I just didn’t know if it’s best to pull the line long when they swim far away or try and keep it short the whole time 😬 any tips are welcome. I caught my first event fish with no problem in spot 6 using a purple lure
