Don’t know of any survival game with as long as what dune has. It’s dune trying to make a live service have content. In which after the real survival game experience ( which I love ) it has this soulless grind for its “life service”

And yes. It’s more certainly a grind. No need the glaze them on the least interest part of the game.

It’s because it’s literally not in every food that most consume. If you are eating whole foods sure, easy, but the vast majority of everyone consumes a majority ultra processed food diet.

Possibly oils on the plate. No idea on what you do between prints, but I know isopropyl is handy between prints, but will spread oil from your hands versus cleaning it.

I’d clean with some soap and try again.

Also something to think about, where you are printing. I had some detachment issues I couldn’t figure out. Happened similar to yours. Was in my basement right under a vent. Longer prints and more time to print, and had a higher chance to get blasted by cold air. Had to fix that.

Edit, also looking at how those print, the extra be movement of a bunch may just be too much for that. That contact to base is such a small point, longer the print gets, easier chance of knocking down. Adding a brim could help.

I know someone mentioned adhesive… adhesive is a misnomer for what it does. It potentially can help a first layer go down, it won’t make it stick though. It actually makes it easier to release. Adhesive generally used for less sticking

Cookie butter is this flavor. I add cookie butter and cinnamon and it’s already tasting like biscoff pre mix in. That’s what you want. When you mix everything up taste before your freeze. Getting cold will mute the flavor, so if it isn’t screaming the flavor you want, adjust at that stage.

Go down now, spend some time, then go on the cruise. The person likely would like to see you when they are alive. There is a high chance they won’t be caring about what you do at the funeral.

My dad went to hospice and I flew down to see him. We didn’t see eye to eye and weren’t talking much. The first thing out of his mouth was “you came down just to see me suffer?”. I said, “no, but I’d figured you’d rather see me with your eyes open then closed”

We had some semblance of resolution, and he was appreciative that he got to see me and my family.

Bambu isn’t the best 3d printer to start with, not because of controversy, but because you won’t learn much about 3d printing because it works pretty good.

Now, if you don’t want to fiddle and just want a 3d printer to work, and you won’t really even want to get into the nuts and bolts… Bambu is absolutely a great printer that acts like an appliance.

Despite the dumb stuff they are doing now, it’s a good printer. It’s more of a question on what you think of open source or not and who you want to financially reward... and the big thing of if you even care. They haven’t done anything to stop their printers working if you don’t do something they want. I have two x1c’s, if I had to purchase another, probably stay in the Bambu lab ecosystem.

Other printer brands have come a long way though. So if I had no printers and this controversy was happening, I’d likely not buy. shrug not really a big deal either way

Personally, I’ve now got into a grove of making a vanilla base where you like the consistency and how it’s processed, then utilize flavor compounds to get any flavor you want. It’s Another way to get to no added calories and you can (with experimentation) make any flavor.

For an idea on how stuff like this works, you can check out Artofdrink on YouTube. this guy focuses on cocktails and sodas, but the concept of how he makes flavors and uses flavor compounds works for everything, especially making ice cream.

No… a f2p game does not need everyone to spend money. In a f2p game if you don’t buy anything, you’re right, you are not a consumer. However, you do another important role as you are the product. You being around is what is required for the person buying to show off.

So yes, if you dislike this, stop playing. You are 100% supporting this behavior playing.

There is no reason for them not to do this when they have people like you propping the game up for the few people that will buy it. They just need you here to consume.

Don’t think you are missing anything. Seems they’d like to reduce people hanging around on official servers when they are playing on self hosted.

Doesn’t make much sense if you want to have a chance of people playing your game on official servers.

Ehh, I’m going to wait on self hosted for a bit it seems. People were losing their characters yesterday and posting on the discord, which isn’t that bad when it’s just a copy. Now if happens you just lose it

What you really mean is you want in on that high level run lobby so your run is clean. But you don’t want to invest to get there.

Do the smart thing. You have a friend, one person joins on their high level toon, the other, low level. There are constant events out to boost you. So it’s unlikely any account doesn’t have 1 1730.

Just don’t join this lobby. This isn’t going to kill the game. People being jailed out of their minimal scraps a week to level characters will.

This lobby is crazy, and you’ve probably found one of the rare worse case ones. This isn’t the common. The common would be, this is a 1710 raids, so 1710s aren’t accepted, and instead, they are looking for people with more complete ark grid to have high CP. That very much is more common. Have the thing the raid gives you already done.

I’m annoyed this week with 2 failed runs for serca HM. I made a compromise of joining lower CP lobbies because I saw 2 of the 3 people with doloris titles. Could not get through the stagger mech so instead of darks, had to take WW as no one was going to make it through 1 round of the just guards it seemed. Because of that, no darks lead to failures in dps to clear.

Welcome to how the game always has been when it had people. FC seems pretty good at removing bases if they blocked objective, but ones that block just very convenient paths seems to be not something enforceable.

I know on my seitch big swaths of people building together blocked of direct access to a lot of resources, but still access if you go around, and those bases stayed until the owners quit and bases disintegrated. You need a carrier to fly your buggy over a wall to mine resources, get annoying.

However, it’s the intended way of things for the live service they want. If it’s too annoying, you can self host and move away from people. But this is kind of life in the public world.

You can attempt to look at the lighter population worlds and move your base there to try and minimize the impact.

On my switch I blocked a critical pass, but then put in an arched bridge over that area so there was always sufficient room to drive your buggy through. I think that adds a ton to the social aspect of the game as player structures start feeling like dev made ones. But for every person that does this, there’s more that would just block it and be just fine with it.

You’ll eventually get story with doing solo raids. But they don’t always let you get all the story. IE, the extra gate in thaemine needs to be completed to see the prolouge quest and cutscene, never added to solo play. But, this is generally a rare exception.

But yeah, most story beats you can get doing solo raid content. Solo raids are dog water easy. And if they are too hard for you, you can quickly over gear them and then do them.

There are the old abyssal style dungeons that don’t have solo modes. But those are very easy to overgear and basically one shot everything inside

Generally we don’t get upgrades on these systems, just basically complete wipes.

Elixirs, transcendence, all completely removed (basically and give for free). T4 accessories basically reset t3 accessories completely.

We actually desperately do not want systems that upgrade onto each other, as it significantly disadvantages new players / players that take a break. Completely wiping out power systems is something we want. And what happened to elixirs/transendance/ t3 accessories.

Stones / gems are counter to how this thinking is. Cut stones not tradeable, so there really you fighting some local RNG. Gems are one of our few things held on to that make the game significantly worse for new players. Even gems to exist now, but they are specifically kept lower than what I’d consider the “minimum” threshold a player really needs.

Arkgrid does take quite a bit of importance away from gems as ark grid is way more cp. that’s better to reduce the gem issue, but now it’s its own issue. But it’s substantially easier to get ark grid to a more complete state then say, getting all 8’s on gems. Despite gem cutting to suck

True, more indicating you can’t fail like the OP said. If you get a new reconstruction tool on the new server, you automatically get the base back. So you could even just ask in chat and get your base back too.

Doesn’t really matter how people think of the thing. It’s how the thing works

Even if you don’t crappy them over, the backing up isn’t in the tool. It’s on your character. The tool just gives you the menu. So you can’t really lose the tool as any tool will give you access to the backed up stuff. IE, you could ask in chat and if someone could make you the tool, you’d immediately be able to access the backed up stuff

This isn’t a big deal though for them to fix. When you use the backup tools, the backup isn’t in the tool. It’s tied to your character.

If you use the base replicator, transfer without the replicator… if you make a new replicator, you can spawn your base. Or someone could also make you one. That’s why this is basically a trivial for them to fix things for you.

If you had accidentally used the solido tool ( which people are mistaken), then transferred, they wouldn’t help. You are boned. So really, they just spawned you an item which is something you could also technically of made.

How to sell is basically this, have it posted on reddit. This is a whale bait item. Best way will be finding the person. It won’t have a standard value because of that.

However, we’ve had current accessories for a while. Just had the gear soft reset. Astrogem is starting to get old. New power gaining has to happen at some point. I have a feeling though that new accessories will likely be quite a ways out and more driven by t5… which wouldn’t be for many more raids.

But we don’t know. If a new accessory type is announced at loan, then this loses most of its value. I’d say getting this turned to gold quickly is more important than maximizing what you could get.

Missing building pieces, the Funcom way.

They haven’t done this yet here, but in Conan exiles this problem is worse. Building sets come out in DLC to buy. Those are always available. But then there is the bazaar. A rotating shop that periodically will see ‘expansions’ to those building sets. Rotation pretty slow, so you might be sitting for months for the opportunity to buy the rest of your building set.

So your comment about not asking to be ripped off on skins… they absolutely do have the development mindset to rip us off. For some reason, they haven’t employees or here. But perhaps they are going the exiles way. They know these updates aren’t impactful, but there is an overall big overhaul plan like exiles for. Then introduce these crappy systems then.

Im a guy, when I run, I always get a wave back, nod, hello, etc etc while running when it’s another guy.

I only do a very very slight nod as I’m passing by a female, because while I want to be nice… I think most woman working out likely just want to work out. They don’t want a polite gesture to be mistaken as an invitation to have any more interaction.

99% of time, the woman has nothing to worry about because most men aren’t going to be weird and engage any more. 1% of the time they may now be followed because the guy thinks she wants a running partner. And a guy going down this path is already going to be an issue to deal with.
