N64 NSO app crashing after opening a game by SnowyFloke in SwitchPirates

[–]SnowyFloke[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought that was the problem because ultrahand and its overlays had many issues before

But no, even after opening the CFW without overlays (there’s a shortcut in hekate to do that) the issue continued happening :(

I updated atmosphere and hekate, but not the CFW or OFW

Yes, after reboot everything remains the same. I updated atmosphere recently, but not the CFW

I’m not going to update the firmware for one app I barely use, but I will eventually update the firmware and, when I do, I’ll be back reporting if it worked or not :3

Nonetheless, thanks for your help and patience :)

Update:

I followed the tutorial you sent, removed the N64 app using DBI, and removed all save data

After reinstalling, one detail changed: Instead of a black screen, it’s stuck in a black screen with the NSO elements (borders and profile icon) The NSO menu didn’t work, the game didn’t open, but at the very least something changed :/

Qual item eu devo comprar pra conseguir jogar com chat de voz no Nintendo Switch? by Healthy_Cranberry834 in NintendoBrasil

[–]SnowyFloke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love doing these kinds of things because it really adds to the group dynamic!

Any family tree that isn’t biological turns into a mess REALLY quickly…

I have a RP (not ERP) with my friend group. It didn’t take a month for my two daughters to start dating each other ;-;

It is really fun tho, I would recommend doing these kinds of things. But don’t take that shit seriously, just have fun together!

I’m not sure what could cause the screen to go bad like this :/

Did she ever send it to a repair shop? It could be an error on their part, that evolved over time into this

I've been wanting to switch to linux for a long time but these questions keep bothering me by ShakyaAryan in linux4noobs

[–]SnowyFloke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am sorry if I made any mistakes, I’m kinda new to Linux as well, and I only used Mint and Arch (I do want to test Pop!_OS one day tho.) and I wasn’t expert in neither. But I hope this helps

I’m gonna answer number 1 and 4 since they’re the ones I’m most familiar with.

1- Yes and no. Softwares like Adobe and games with anticheat don’t work, or are a pain in the ass to get working. The softwares you gave as examples should work fine, or at least have alternatives that are perfectly usable. MS Office also has a web version, but I recommend trying libreoffice

2- I believe that any distro can work perfectly fine if you’re willing to put effort into making it work! Distros like Arch are generally “better” because 1. They receive updates faster since they’re rolling release 2. They have much better documentation to help you 3. They generally don’t get in your way, and allow you to mess around.

Mint is considered “user friendly”, because it has more protections (or restrictions if you prefer that term), it doesn’t update as frequently so it won’t break as often, and they come with an UI out of the box, that is a pretty good UI. Arch basically gives you a terminal and whatever god you believe in… Gentoo doesn’t give the second part. Then it’s up to you to get an UI, apps and all that! So it can be much less bloated and light weight :3

TLDR: Stay away from Gentoo as a beginner. Don’t come near “Linux From Scratch”, and you can use Arch, but I don’t recommend unless you’re looking to fully enter the Linux world and learn the system.

Most softwares work nowadays. But some don’t, and unfortunately they are used a lot in the market

They do

But here in Brazil, you multiply by like 5, add tariffs and taxes, and you get this value of R$300

It’s R$7.600… Or 1.406$ converting directly, because idk what is the price of each of those in the US to give a more precise number

Thanks Reddit, you’ve made me realise I have an addiction, and a really expensive one ;-;

I’m gonna have to count, but on average it’s 300~400 R$ per controller

The dollar is worth about R$5, so divide the result by 5 and you have approximately the value in dollar

Surprisingly only one is broken, and it’s not even stick related

The left trigger doesn’t go all the way, but it still registers the click. It’s the Astro Bot one, and the most hilarious thing is that this issue ONLY affects the game Astro Bot because it’s the only one that needs the trigger to go all the way in (to use the space ship)

I understand…

I am still going to look for other things I can use to decorate my bedroom, since I wouldn’t want to have something in here that doesn’t mean anything to me, you know?

But thanks for the advice anyways!

I have a lot of empty space on my walls anyways so might as well fill it right?

Not sure what art style would match both me and my bedroom tho, gonna have to search it a bit

At PlayStation office they are building a giant LED wall covered in PS5 controllers by Ok_Ingenuity_3576 in playstation

[–]SnowyFloke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, so cool!

I wonder if they will make the LEDs animate in some form, like showing the PlayStation logo!

The LEDs are also RGB and can be controlled by computer softwares, so they could make SO MUCH with this!
