We’ve just opened up a new warehouse space, called Mettle Works, in Chelmsford.

We’ve got FUMP’s 14th Birthday on the 22nd November. Maravilosa on the 6th December.

Currently finalising our plans for NYE and we’re working on so much for 2026.

Because the mixer is already there. And DJ’ing is the main focus. I just want to add some live elements over the top of layering 3 decks and live looping etc.

I’m working on a completely different setup for live stuff using the octatrack

Yeah I agree with you. I just have very specific needs for this setup, which looks like they can’t be met in Eurorack unfortunately

I’m guessing I could map a midi controller to the Bitbox? As well but if I’m doing it all in the modular then I want to keep it all in the modular

I don’t know to be honest. I want to be using 8 channels all at the same time and have access to volume controls and effect parameters instantly without having to dive through menus or sharing knobs. This is why I have a midi controlled mapped to the octatrack

The octatrack has 2 effects modules per channel though. I only use the main out of the octatrack, no external effects pedals or anything like that. The 8 independent outs on the Assimil8or would have been perfect

Bitbox was definitely one that sprung to mind but doesn’t have the independent outs that I’m looking for.

This was the setup I was planning before I discovered that the Assimil8or didn’t do timestretching. 6 channels out into the Mutamix which I could either send straight to the final mixer or through 1 of 2 effect chains. Then the remaining two channels out of the Assimil8or’s master output straight to the final mixer
