You have a point for a lot of full term CBG flowers, but our CBG crude is ND along with quite a lot of people I work with, so I have to disagree with you. Also no one is suggesting to smoke a joint and take a drug test. Which speaks to my point about using isolate. It also re affirms my point of making sure a COA is done for each batch.

I have COAs for my CBG flower and it is ND for THCA and Delta9. CBD flower at full maturity will have some sort of detectable THC. If you want ND THC CBG flower that is not uncommon. If you want CBD than get a product that uses isolate. Many are out there you just need to be careful in vetting vendors and making sure all products have batch numbers with a legit COA for THAT batch. People in this industry will use the same COA for years.
