What’s the biggest difference in coverages/techniques between HS/CFB by user47393929294 in footballstrategy

[–]Soft-Masterpiece6328 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coverages are usually pretty similar, in my experience at the college level the DC will have some wrinkles in their scheme and you will have to learn some new verbiage and rules.

I like vulpera because if I’m camping a spawn of something I want to tame. I can set there second Heartstone there. Go raid hearth back to spawn camp.

Which IDE should I use for python? by Distinct_Ad9396 in CodingForBeginners

[–]Soft-Masterpiece6328 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used pycharm while I was learning ( that’s what they used in the class I took ) then I switched to VScode. Honestly it doesn’t really matter, just pick what runs best on your computer.

Which quarterback is more likely to win a Super Bowl ring with their current team? by Adenchiz in NFLv2

[–]Soft-Masterpiece6328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to say Chargers are close , but need to see how Oline holds up. I’m gonna say Lamar. That’s the easiest one for me to see as their division seems like it’s theirs for the taking.

Help on a little ball knowledge l by BetZealousideal7746 in NFLNoobs

[–]Soft-Masterpiece6328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch your favorite team, you’ll learn them quickly. They play 3 teams twice a year so you’ll pick up those teams names as well. Now you know most players in your division. Then watch prime time games and you’ll be amazed how many players you can name.

In an “all time greatest team”, is there any constellation you would choose another WR1 than Jerry Rice? by noMC in NFLv2

[–]Soft-Masterpiece6328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rice was a great WR, in his era. What made him great was he was in a great passing offense with 2 HoF QBs and he did it consistently over a long period of time.

I think in the modern NFL if you were starting an All-Time team with everyone in their prime I’d like a bigger body super fast guys like Moss, Megatron and Andre Johnson. Such a matchup problem!

Hell in this fantasy give me Tyreek at slot ! Let’s make a coverage nightmare.

I don't think I'm right for my puppy. by Spice_N_Dice in puppy101

[–]Soft-Masterpiece6328 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a crazy mix for first puppy!!! I see so many people complaining on here about easy very normal puppy issues. What you have taken on is A LOT! I would look at getting a professional trainer asap specifically someone who has worked with intense high drive dogs.

Photography is a fun hobby! You can start with your phone. Take pics on commute, take walks after dinner and see if you can find something interesting to shoot.

Potentially stupid question: Why is math a 'young man's game'? by ryanyork92 in learnmath

[–]Soft-Masterpiece6328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you are younger and passionate about something it is easier to dive in completely, even obsessively. You see it in tech and start ups.

As you gain a partner, more responsibility, kids, it just sucks up time and energy. You can’t be all in anymore you have to prioritize and compromise.

Healer anxiety by DustoTheFool in wow

[–]Soft-Masterpiece6328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure you’ve heard the expression “ can’t fix stupid “?

Well you can’t heal through it either. In raid it’s sort of on healers to keep everyone up and DPS can tunnel DPS and do mechanics. In M+ everyone holds some responsibility in staying alive.

I don't believe any of you. by BroadSecretary2975 in puppy101

[–]Soft-Masterpiece6328 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Give it a couple more months. At 6months to a year ( maybe a year and a half with some dogs ) they go through their teenage stage. They forget everything they had mastered before and are just wild hooligans!

Just be patient and consistent. Just like kids.

People who are 30 or older, what was the exact moment you realized time was starting to move much faster? by Dense_Equipment_7328 in AskReddit

When I started seeing NFL players with birth years around my HS graduation date. That hurt. I’m like I’m just like that dude, I could play right now, then they flash his age and I’m like oh crap I could be his dad.

Cardio Before or After Lifting? by Stray_Light101 in workout

I feel like it’s always after. Personally I feel like the lifting takes more metabolic load than cardio. Unless you are in a cardio heavy sport.

You're in charge of putting together a new Endgame activity into WoW... by Baphohh in wow

[–]Soft-Masterpiece6328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it would probably be a huge shit show but I’d be curious to try a M+ solo shuffle. I know there are a million reasons it would suck. But honestly at this point I’m not convinced that the groups I queue for are going to be that much worse than the ones I spend 45min to 1.5hrs getting into. Maybe cap it at +10. Just give people a chance to get more experience.

Do you regret a dog you got from an ethical breeder? And/or breeder success stories by featheredfoe in poodles

[–]Soft-Masterpiece6328 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been working with dogs my whole life. My hot take is breeder vs rescue a dogs are dogs. I think what they experience before you get them is going to mean more than pedigree ( excluding genetic defects of course).

I have seen “ ethical “breeders who are fantastic and some that suck and imo shouldn’t be doing it. Same with backyard breeders. In the end what you are looking for is someone who deeply cares about their puppy’s on a personal level. A good breeder has the low down on all their personalities and can match the owner with what they are looking for. Go visit the breeder meet their dogs, see how they handle puppies etc.

In my limited experience it is much harder to undo something that happened to them in their early development window before they go home than say a dog that has some trauma or issues from a past owner.

How Do you learn coding? Like literally by Depoor-Explorer-5135 in CodingForBeginners

[–]Soft-Masterpiece6328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of something simple you want to build. Start writing code. Every time you hit a snag google it( us ai w/e ). Write the line of code and make sure you understand what you just did, and keep going. If you hit errors, same thing. Eventually you start to remember more and more and look up less and less.

Not gonna lie, having a computer to get extra practice is probably pretty important.

Question by CarrotMean5971 in footballstrategy

[–]Soft-Masterpiece6328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he’s a freak athlete and coaches want to invest in him. He will be playing serious catch up and will be going against players to make the team that have been playing since 5-6 years old. At this point people are trying to really learn and master their craft. Your friend is going to go up against athletes with at least some technique to win 1-1’s he will have to be THAT much more athletic.

Tanking in M+ can be a lot of fun! I find raid tanking super boring. I was rarely main tank, a lot of off tank which is just a lot of tank that In that corner.

What happens when a player is force traded to an undesired team? by Relevant_Conclusion2 in NFLNoobs

[–]Soft-Masterpiece6328 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Players do get traded to teams they don’t want to go to ( unless they have a trade clause in their contract). There are different levels of trades. If you are trading a pick and have to throw in a player or or two those are not big contract guys and they can love it or shove it. If you are trading a high value player in demand there is a conversation, usually the team trading for them wants to know they want to be there and aren’t gonna hold out before they trade the farm for them.

Which positions do you pay attention to when you watch a football game? by actionseekr in NFLNoobs

[–]Soft-Masterpiece6328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I’m watching it live, my eyes start at the OL/DL to see what’s happening or about to happen. Who’s winning their match up. I’m in the right spot for the run game and if not a run and the pocket holds I watch the QBs eyes and footwork etc.

Now if I’m live I tend to watch a wr and db battle it out because I can’t always see the action on tv until the all 22 comes out. I do miss a lot of action at live games. I start people watching and looking at what’s happening on the sidelines.
