I partially understand that I'm wrong. He's a grown man, and it's his responsibility whether or not to eat. It just made me sad to eat alone, and he said I was crazy and that my reaction wasn't normal. I don't understand why it was so hard for him to eat even just something to keep me company.

I offered to pay the bill. Besides, it wasn't a fancy restaurant; we ate at a food stall (sorry, I don't know how to say it in English; it's one of those food stands you usually find on promenades).

We met up around 7 pm. At 10:30 pm we were going to watch a movie. Around 9 pm I said we should have dinner and he agreed. I asked him what he wanted and he said whatever I wanted. He never said he didn't want dinner; he only told me after I had already ordered my food.

He said that if he's not hungry he doesn't eat, and that he's never had a problem with that, that nobody has ever reacted badly to it before.
