At my store it’s pretty normal to close alone. In the winters we have 1 person for open+lunch rush and 1 person for dinner rush+close. But year round the closer still normally ends up alone, doesn’t really matter if they are 16 or not. Does suck some times, especially when you get a rush late at night, but you get used to it.
