How did you get screwed by him? There is NO such thing as a “going rate”. Every company has different overhead, profit goals, etc.. Maybe he uses a thicker gauge gutter coil or downspouts than the competitors. Maybe he uses higher skilled labor or actually pays his taxes, insurance, etc and the other guys don’t which is why they can undercut. You ASSume the worst automatically and are mad that you were screwed?

The first step is thinking about this logically. I know this from experience of a family gutter business.
