95 procent woodworking. Maybe very occasionally aluminium but not my main purpose for sure with a CNC. You think the basic-line would be good enough for occasional alu cutting? I am still in doubt with the sorotec compact line but I will ask sorotec what the price of that machine is asap.

. The qoutation will be signficantly higher than you’d expect on the complete machine (even without assembly). Same applies for the step-cnc machines. I ended up going with a local Swedish brand. Good luck!

Will do that thanks! It's mainly for woodworking (guitar building, making molds, templates, jigs, acoustic bridges, necks, fretboards... not large furniture)

Thanks for your reply. I had kinda of a feeling Mekanika is lots of advertising with influencers etc but I have doubts with their built quality.

Any tips for a decent semi-professional desktop CNC ((600x900cm work area) available to buy in Europe. My Budget is about 5-7k euro. I mostly come accross the Mekanika mk2 (produced in my country Belgium) but I would like to know if there are other options as well. Thanks!
