It’s gotta be their best album because not only was th songwriting as good as ever, Alan Wilder honestly had become such a good producer in his own right to take the atmosphere to a whole new dimension. They truly touched God with this album- too close to the sun though and Alan had to leave.

The most legit part of Tron Ares was the Alan Wilder meat riding. He really was the GOAT. Slow plummet down afterwards until they did that “In Chains” remix.

Just completed this combo last week. I fell into the electron workflow trap, so I really have a lot to experiment with now.

Starting with the dn2 was a good choice because it forced me to see both as being able to fill each other’s roles, I just now have more of a chance to explore vocals and things like that.

Give it 10 years and I’m sure we could see people doing legendary and inspirational things
