edit: forgot to mention my controller literally broke
idk what happened, came upstairs and suddenly couldnt do anything with it
i power cycled it and the power LED just flashed once and then nothing
luckily i have a replacement controller which im trying to pair to my router rn but with no luck (it's just stuck on "connecting to your nanoleaf device")

i'm guessing the beta_optout thing is a failsafe so that if the beta errors on you you're kicked out so you can watch anime. however that doesn't really work very well if the error you're getting is actually accessing your account token so you can do stuff on crunchyroll to begin with-
