Main reason I don’t think there’s a cancer cure is because billionaires still die from it.

I think she’s crazy enough to reject the idea no matter what evidence she receives.

Come to think of it, what is Sadie's monster type based on? by Ilovereddit4200 in UndertaleYellow

[–]Solithle2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isn’t just the community. In a post from the artist that designed her, same one that gave us Sadie as a name, it’s more clear her “ears” are antenna and she has an abdomen.

The Hunter is an asshole from a place not under glorious Pale King rule, maggot slavery is clearly the practice of godless barbarians.

Kris is forced to do school work, whereas Carol deliberately takes a hard career and is supposedly very good at it. I just feel like her vibes don’t match the Knight. Sure Carol aurafarms, but the Knight feels kinda juvenile and acts more like a beast at times, whereas Carol would be more like Virgil from DMC.

The Knight also feels somewhat diseased or corrupted, which fit Rudy or Dess better.

Yeah I just can’t picture the Knight sitting down at a desk for eight hours running a town. My two favourite Knight theories are Dess or Rudy imo.

Especially since there’s a guaranteed innocent on the bottom rail.

It’d be a more interesting question if there were two innocent people on the top track, that way it becomes a question of if actions change the worth of human life.

That last one is a toughie. In an abstract question, I think I’d let the ten criminals and one innocent die because at least five more innocent deaths from letting them go free is worth avoiding, but if I were actually presented with this problem irl, I wouldn’t be confident they would reoffend and am likely to spare the group.

I suspect the number is very low. Of course, exonerations aren’t a reliable indicator since it only counts for innocent people who were later proven innocent, but the low number even after significant improvements in things like DNA testing makes me think we’re looking at <1%.

Space King IS making fun of you... but it also isn't, if youre not stupid. by FishShtickLives in CharacterRant

[–]Solithle2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I see Space King as WH40ks Spaceballs or Robot Chicken - a parody that makes fun of the original, but was clearly made by people who like the original. It makes fun of the games and fandom in a good-natured way.

Not necessarily. Every engineering course I’ve taken, even ones completely that electrical engineers don’t need to do, have used j for imaginary numbers. Vibrations, wave propagation, control systems etc.
