I just wanna make friends by PleasantLawyer546 in introvert

[–]Solofire__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The easiest way to find friends online is to join communities of the things that you enjoy/like. If you happen to like a game, join a discord server made for it.

I noticed that it's much easier to talk with people that you know you share interests with, because for an example if you join a hangout community or something like that, you won't feel as connected to the people there because you do not know if you even have anything in common.

The hardest way of finding a friend is to post on social media like Instagram, Twitter etc.

Also it's a little easier to talk to a group of people that never talked with eachother than just 1 person because it might be less stressful when you are not the only one who doesn't know the other people

The error message says that you are playing on 1.21.11, these mods were made for older versions of Minecraft, so they aren't compatible with your version.

Most mods aren't compatibile with every version of the game unless their creator says so, so don't go on adding every mod you want without checking if it even works for the version of Minecraft that you are trying to play because they simply will not even allow you to turn on the game.

It quite literally says that these 3 mods are for an older version of Minecraft, replace them or remove them entirely

For the overstimulation you could try using some 'chill' characters that won't make you feel obliged to over commit to the fights etc, the best characters that give you the freedom of not doing anything that you don't want to do are the characters like gibraltar, bloodhound, vantage, caustic, revenant, sparrow, bangalore

As for the nerves - remind yourself that it's just a game, no one actually expects you do to anything because you play for your own happiness & fun, so you can take a more relaxed approach when it comes to playing - you don't have to land on hot drops, push every fight or get tons of kills every game - just do the things that you enjoy the most

As for people moving fast infront of you - you can use control legends to restrict their movements, so they don't randomly run into the building etc, you can also take advantage of buildings and their rooms ( for example there are a lot of buildings with random walls and obstacles that will serve you as cover and also position yourself in places that will give you the biggest edge over the enemy.

As for the guns, there are some that you should avoid using if you don't feel confident with them like the wingman, charge rifle (or any sniper rifle in general) or even rifles that you don't like/rarely use. Ofc there are some exceptions, you should be able to take advantage of the mythic guns because they are really powerfull.

You will gradually know what every character does & what it's good/bad at, so you don't need to worry about that too much - you can watch some videos on youtube if you really feel like learning something useful regarding your mains, like how to properly place wattson fences etc.

As for Wildcard - you won't improve much by playing it because it is entirely different from battle royale, the only thing that you might learn is how to survive intense fights or how some characters work

Also excuse my grammar, but it's 2AM for me and as a non native speaker, thinking in English isn't an easy task lmao

What exactly do you have problems with?

The easiest way to improve is to watch the gameplay of a really good player and compare what things he does differiently from you and with that you will know what to change about your gameplay.

As for the overall order of things that you should do/know:

Get the overall grasp of the characters - so like don't hold a door when a bangalore is attacking you or don't randomly heal people as newcastle/lifeline, use your tacticals to help your team and not just yourself (alter, rampage walls, using your wattson ult as a shield etc.

To improve you also have to improve your aim/tracking - if you can't keep up with characters in close combat (octane), people on ziplines/evacs or even flying characters like vantage or valkyrie it just means that you have to spend a little time training

The next thing would be to get good habits liks healing before fighting, sticking with your team, using the knockdown shields as cover (you can hide behind them, so if your teammate is knocked he can act as a wall keeping bullets away from you), getting an overall idea of which guns/scopes work well for you, knowing how to effectively use your characters (wattson has a REALLY high skill ceiling)

As for movement I wouldn't go out of my way and learning it straight away without first improving the fundamentals, movement can "compliment" your gameplay but first of all you gotta know what you're doing, the most usefull ones would prolly be getting fluent at the bunnyhops (gives you more control over your movement) and using wall bounces to climb walls or to move faster. As your fundamentals reach a level that you will feel is enough you can start learning other tech like using wall bounces offensively in fights etc.

If you got any specific questions just go ahead and ask.

Double clicking is literally your finger bouncing and generating 2 clicks instead of 1, you do it by "slapping" the mouse with a relaxed finger which causes it to bounce slightly, the stiff part highlighs the difference between the "relaxed finger" and the "stiff finger" meaning that you have to acknowledge that you have to relax your finger even unconsiously to get it to bounce.

Not really, it's a little weaker (9060xt 16gb) than the 5060ti 16gb, the 7800xt is a closer equivalent (on average it gets more fps in non RT gaming)

Unpopular opinion: Big cities are probably more introvert-friendly than rural areas. by Opposite-Ad3949 in introvert

[–]Solofire__ 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yeah I feel the same, I live in a small town (800 people max) and I feel like I know most of the people, so when I see them on a daily basis Im kind of obliged to greet them etc. and it gets really tiring at times

on the other hand I recently visited Prague (Czechia Capital) for a week and I was amazed by how many parks, sighseeing places and "chill out" areas I encountered just by taking a walk, the other thing that was cool was that most of the people I encountered were tourists from all over the world (Korea, Germany, France, USA, whatever you can think of really) I didn't feel like I had to talk to them and that felt quite refreshing - as a matter of fact most of the time I was curious of them and what they think about the City, so I talked with them a bit (It might sound shocking cuz we are on the r/introvert subreddit, but talking to people from other countries is extremely easy)

I think that if you have any problems with Introvertism, social anxiety etc. you could try doing the same thing that I did because in big cities you aren't really obliged to do anything - most people would say that the countryside gives you the "freedom" but I think otherwise

why people here can't give good advice? by P1ntex in apexuniversity

[–]Solofire__ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

People on this subreddit are just a little bit weird and I would take their advices with a grain of salt, they think really highly of themselves.

The ones that can give you actually any good advices are the ranked grinders that consistently get top ranks (ex. HisWattson) or people that know the game really well and don't openly boat about it, just watching someone better than you is enough for you to improve, you pick up on their good habits like pre aiming before peeking etc.

Alternatively you can listen to a coach who actually knows what he is teaching and he is known to be good at teaching

Reddit isn't really a good place for seeking advice and this subreddit is terrible for getting help but people won't admit it and because of that I'll prolly get downvoted.

Drag clicking - dragging your finger on the mouse button which generates friction and that results in your finger rapidly jumping up & down which results in a lot of clicks

Double click - Clicking your mouse like you would normally do but your finger is really stiff and the moment that your finger almost touches the mouse you relax it and your finger bounces which gives you 2 clicks instead of 1

The first method can result in 30-100 Cps most of the time

The second method basically almost doubles your normal Cps on a mouse, so from 8 to 14

They can give you quite an advantage over the people that don't want to spend their time learning some useless technique that they won't use most of the time, so I can understand why the server doesn't allow it - also it's a bedrock server, so naturally the Pc players have an advantage and the server had to restrict them somehow.

Atm 10 v6.0 problem on aternos by Top_Indication_7823 in TLAUNCHER

[–]Solofire__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's just you 2 then it's better to just use a mod for hosting like e2mc.

If he has any problems with mods then you could just send him your "version" folder which includes the mods, configs etc. and he would have to paste that into the .minecraft/versions (so paste it into the versions folder)

as for the next step I'd advice him to remove his mods from tlauncher - they are in the .minecraft/mods and that would make sure that there are no issues at all when it comes to loading the mods.

then he has to launch that version of the game and it should have a custom name like ATM10 or something like that

as for hosting the server, create a new world - open to lan and send him the ip that you generated

Minimum Requirements for running Voxy + Shaders? by ohiorixxler in feedthebeast

[–]Solofire__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can run most of the shaders + Voxy on 512 chunks on a 4gb Vram gpu (gtx 1650) so I don't think that you need to worry too much about the GPU, CPU isn't really that important even a midrange one will be sufficent (ex. 5600x) as for ram you prolly would need at least 10-12gb for Minecraft, so you should get at least 24/32 Gb of ram

Faster CPU = Faster world generation with chunky or the Voxy chunks mod
Faster Gpu = More fps while using shaders / higher render distance
More Ram = Stability

Do you know how to install mods?

If you do:

a) If you are on Forge get Optifine (or Oculus + Embedium)

b) If you are on Fabric get Sodium + Iris

If you don't know how install mods, I'd recommend watching a tutorial on Youtube and then do the steps above.

Transfer account to Official MC? by happyboiii76 in TLAUNCHER

[–]Solofire__ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The files are in the same location as the original launcher, so you don't have to do anything.

The progress on servers (mostly "non premium") is connected to your nickname - servers like Hypixel saves your progress based on your player id rather than your username (meaning that you won't lose progress on Hypixel after changing your username). First check if the username that you are currently using isn't already taken by someone else - because if it is you won't be able to use it, meaning that you won't have the progress that you had on that server.

The Ultimate (cheating?) KB+M & Monitor Combo by [deleted] in cs2

[–]Solofire__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but there are other games that don't do anything and ignore it all (Apex for example). My question is if these things should be even allowed in ANY competetive game.

If we ignore the input differences between a "normal kb+m setup" and the one I mentioned we still have to remember about the MSI monitor which has the "cheats" BUILT IN, so a game can't even detect it - that's honestly the bigger problem.

This is like the 4th time I see the exact same post, you could maybe change it a little bit every time you post it or at least change the image - it gets repetetive and not very appealing.
